  • Patent number: 11541756
Abstract: A controller of a drive system is configured to, when a power switch is changed from an on state to an off state in a situation in which it has been diagnosed that an abnormality is occurring in a motor generator, execute a starting check process of checking a drive circuit and an engine starting process of starting an engine. The starting check process includes a voltage reduction process of driving a DC-DC converter until a capacitor voltage becomes lower than or equal to a prescribed voltage. The controller is configured to, on condition that the controller determines through a voltage reduction determination process that the capacitor voltage is reduced as compared to the capacitor voltage at an end of the voltage reduction process, execute the engine starting process.

  • Patent number: 9187082
Abstract: At a hybrid vehicle including a driving power generation device with an engine, a first MG (motor generator) and a second MG, and a transmission device including a power split mechanism coupling an output shaft to the engine and the first MG, and a transmission coupling an output shaft to the second MG, an ECU stops the driving power generation device when the transmission device is in error. Then, the ECU determines whether the vehicle is actually stopped or not based on a detection value from a wheel speed sensor, and maintains the supply of electric power from the battery until a determination is made that the vehicle has actually stopped.

  • Patent number: 9054626
Abstract: Provided is a motor control apparatus that can easily distinguish between a current sensor abnormality and a rotation-angle sensor abnormality, without making a current sensor a duplex system. An MGECU estimates a W-phase current on the basis of a V-phase current detected by a current sensor, and estimates the V-phase current on the basis of a detected W-phase current. An actual torque of a motor generator is estimated on the basis of the detected V-phase current and the estimated W-phase current, and the actual torque of the motor generator is also estimated on the basis of the detected W-phase current and the estimated V-phase current. Then, an evaluation is made whether an abnormality is an abnormality of the current sensor or an abnormality of a resolver, on the basis of the differences between the torque command value for the motor generator and both the estimated actual torques.

  • Patent number: 8860591
Abstract: An ADC which samples an analog input signal at a sampling frequency and converts the analog input signal to a digital output signal, has N analog digital converter (ADC) channels which convert the analog input signal into the digital output signal by time interleaving, a channel synthesizer which synthesizes channel digital signals output respectively by the ADC channels to generate the digital output signal, an adaptive filter provided at at least one output of the ADC channels, and a correction circuit which generates a coefficient of the adaptive filter in accordance with the digital output signal. The correction circuit calculates a DC component of an image signal component, from among an analog input signal component and the image signal component corresponding to error, both being included in the digital output signal, and calculates the coefficient such that the DC component is suppressed on the basis of the DC component.

  • Patent number: 8836551
Abstract: An ADC has ADC channels converting an analog input signal into an digital output signal in a time interleave manner; a channel combiner combining channel digital signals respectively output by the ADC channels and generate the digital output signal; an adaptive filter provided at one of the plurality of ADC channels; and a correction circuit detecting a skew error in the digital output signal, generating a coefficient of the adaptive filter according to the skew error for setting it in the filter. According to the skew error, in a first setting, the correction circuit sets the coefficient such that the adaptive filter phase-shifts to one direction a phase of the channel digital signal and, in a second setting, the correction circuit sets the coefficient such that the adaptive filter phase-shifts to an opposite direction and sets a coefficient with which the skew error is suppressed to a desired level.
