  • Publication number: 20170080725
Abstract: A separation unit (10) of a label printer includes a metal nip roller shaft (11), a resin nip roller (12) disposed at a center part of the nip roller shaft and is supported so as to be rotatable around the nip roller shaft, and resin supporters (13) that support both ends of the nip roller shaft. The separation unit (10) is attached to the body case (2) to be relatively movable between the normal ejection position and the separation ejection position. Each of the pair of supporters has a part protruding toward the nip roller, and this part is a roller holder (13d) to insert an end of the nip roller shaft. The roller holder and the supporter are integrally formed for enhanced strength of the supporter.

  • Publication number: 20160052304
Abstract: A printer according to an embodiment includes: a printer body including a supplying part that rotatably holds a roll-shaped sheet member; an opening and closing cover configured to open and close with respect to the printer body; a thermal head disposed on the printer body, the thermal head configured to print on the sheet member; a platen roller disposed on the opening and closing cover, the platen roller positioned at a location opposite to the thermal head and feeding the sheet member in a closed configuration; and a platen roller holding mechanism configured to attachably and detachably secure the platen roller to the opening and closing cover. The platen roller holding mechanism includes a label roll supporter that rotatably guides the roll-shaped sheet member in the supplying part. The label roll supporter includes a cross-sectional arc-shaped surface.

  • Publication number: 20150046717
Abstract: A semiconductor apparatus of an embodiment is provided with: a NAND memory configured to store a startup program; a ROM configured to store firmware activating the startup program; an OTP memory configured to store a hash value of the startup program; and a CPU configured to perform falsification detection of the startup program by comparing the hash value stored in the OTP memory and a hash value calculated from the startup program stored in the NAND memory, to execute the startup program if falsification is not detected, and to stop a startup process if falsification is detected.

  • Publication number: 20140236012
Abstract: Ultrasound diagnosis apparatus is provided which easily recreates test conditions same as the past, comprising scanner, signal processor, display controller, storage, detector, collator, and controller. Scanner scans a subject with ultrasound waves through ultrasound probe. Storage previously stores first relevant information in which operation of the scanner, the signal processor, or the display controller in past test is related to a first relative position which is the relative position of ultrasound probe for the subject in the same past test. Detector detects a second relative position which is the present relative position of ultrasound probe for the subject. Collator collates the first relative position and the second relative position detected by the detector. Controller controls the scanner, the signal processor or the display controller based on the operation related to the first relative position, when the first relative position and the second relative position are matched in collation.

  • Patent number: 4612232
Abstract: A web in the form of a thermal transfer carbon ribbon has a lead tape adhered to the leading end of the web, that is to the outermost end portion of the web wound upon a core. The lead tape includes a base and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer backing the base. The lead tape is adhered to the surface of the outermost circumference of the carbon ribbon and the end of the lead tape tape is coextensive with the end of the carbon ribbon, which strengthens the then leading end of the carbon ribbon. In forming this carbon ribbon and lead tape combination, the carbon ribbon is let off from a thickly rolled raw ribbon and is taken up on a core. The lead tape is applied to the running surface of the carbon ribbon on the raw roll at the location immediately before the carbon ribbon has been fully taken up on the core. Then the carbon ribbon is cut at the trailing end of the lead tape when the carbon ribbon has been substantially fully taken up to make the ends of the carbon ribbon and of the lead tape coextensive.
