  • Patent number: 5840054
Abstract: A method of obstructing the lacrimal canaliculi by infusing therein a solution or liquid dispersion containing a gel forming material, such having collagen as the main ingredient in the range of 1 mg/ml to 70 mg/ml for improving the symptoms of dry eye.

  • Patent number: 5566741
Abstract: A roll screen apparatus improved in operation and manufacturing, wherein the winding up and down of the roll screen are effected in such a manner so that the rotation of the pulley, by the pulling down of the operation cord, is transmitted to the screen winding pipe, and wherein the stop of the screen is effected by disengaging the transmission from the screen winding pipe to the pulley. The improved apparatus is characterized by providing a clutch device and a disengagement device. The clutch device is only transmissive of the rotation of the pulley to the screen winding pipe, and the disengagement device disconnects the engagement between the pulley and the screen winding pipe and maintains such disconnected condition.

  • Patent number: 5198814
Abstract: A digital-to-analog converter having a main analog conversion part which carries out digital to analog conversion of input digital signals, an auxiliary analog conversion part which compensates the digital-to-analog conversion error, a memory circuit which accumulates the compensation data for compensating the conversion error, a register circuit which inputs the output signal of the memory circuit, and a matrix switching circuit which selects the output signal of the register circuit by means of the higher order bits of the input digital signal.Prior to the start of the digital-to-analog conversion operation the compensation data accumulated in the memory circuit are transferred to the register circuit. Later, at the time of the digital to analog conversion operation the matrix switching circuit is controlled by means of the higher order bits of the input digital signal selects the data held in the register circuit, and carries out the compensation of the error in the analog conversion.

  • Patent number: 5162800
Abstract: A digital-to-analog converting unit decodes a digital input signal into a decoded signal, and selectively allows constant-current cells arranged in matrix to supply unit currents for producing an analog output signal, wherein a decoding circuit incorporated in the digital-to-analog converting unit sequentially selects the constant-current cells in such a manner that insufficient increment of current produced by one of the constant-current-cells cancels out excessive increment of current produced by another constant-current cell so that the analog output signal is improved in linearity.
