  • Patent number: 9398135
Abstract: A mobile terminal (1) includes a telephone communication control section (23) which makes a call by use of a details screen (320b) for a person to contact and causes a screen (330c) showing that a call is being made to be displayed; and a telephone communication establishment determining section (23a) which, in a case where a telephone communication has been established, terminates a telephone book application (32), and which, in a case where no telephone communication has been established, after the display of the screen (330c) showing that a call is being made, causes the details screen for a person to contact to be displayed. This makes it possible to prevent (i) a display of personal information registered in a telephone book DB and (ii) a decrease in user convenience even in a case where a call is made by use of a screen of a telephone book application.

  • Patent number: 8218883
Abstract: Volume data (32) constituted of more than one slice image (30) shot with a CT scanner (12) is transferred to an image server (14). A CPU (40) of the image server (14) makes a site recognizing section (46) recognize a site of each slice image (30) included in the volume data (32). The recognized site is recorded in a tag area (36) of each slice image (30) as site information (36c). The CPU (40) refers to the site information (36c) of each slice image (30) and judges whether more than one site is included in the volume data (32) or not. When judging that more than one site is included in the volume data (32), an image compression section (47) selects a common compression mode and compresses each slice image (30) under a common compression format and a common compression ratio.

Abstract: Volume data (32) including slice images (30) captured by a CT apparatus (12) is transferred to an image server (14). A CPU (40) of the image server (14) allows a region recognizing section (46) to recognize a region of each slice image (30) included in the volume data (32). The recognized region is recorded in a tag area (36) of each slice image (30) as region information (36c). The CPU (40) references the region information (36c) of each slice image (30) and judges if the volume data (32) includes regions or not. If the CPU (40) judges that the volume data (32) includes regions, an image compressing section (47) selects a common compression mode and compresses each slice image (30) in a common compression mode at a compression ratio.

  • Patent number: 7383511
Abstract: In a small-scale medical facility, appropriate storage and management of medical images whose storage is mandatory for a predetermined period becomes easier. A storage terminal installed in a medical facility is connected to a mobile storage system, and image data stored in the storage terminal are transferred to the mobile storage system. The mobile storage system storing the image data is connected to an image data storage apparatus installed in an image storage center, and transmits the image data to the image data storage apparatus. The image data storage apparatus stores the image data and calculates the date of storage expiration of the image data. The image data storage apparatus stores the image data until the expiration date.

  • Patent number: 7366335
Abstract: A method and apparatus for carrying out tomographic image processing that enables lung areas and a mediastinum in a chest tomographic image to be reproduced in one image with appropriate contrast is provided. Image data representing a chest tomographic image are obtained by using a tomography apparatus. Normalization means in a tomographic image processing apparatus normalizes the image data and obtains normalized image data. Compression processing means carries out dynamic range compression processing on the normalized image data to compress a high density range thereof. The image data after the compression processing are subjected to frequency enhancing processing, and the image data after the frequency enhancing processing are then subjected to tone conversion processing. The processed image data obtained in the above manner are reproduced by a reproduction apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7333649
Abstract: An measurement processing apparatus for efficiently measuring geometric data of an image is provided. A reference-image outputting means forms a reference-image based on an image that has been previously measured as well as a setting order data which indicates a suggestion as to the order in which the measuring points should be set and which shows the same setting order in which the measuring points were set for a previously performed measurement of a past-measurement image, and outputs the reference-image and the setting order data to an image display means. While consulting the reference-image and the setting order data displayed on the image display means, an operator can set, by use of a measuring point setting means, the measuring points at the correct positions and in the correct order in the subject image displayed on a display screen, and the geometrical data can be measured automatically and efficiently.

  • Patent number: 6449502
Abstract: In a bone measurement method, an index value representing a condition of a structure of a bone tissue is acquired. Bone tissue pattern emphasis processing is carried out on a radiation image of an object, which contains at least the bone tissue, and in accordance with a morphology operation. Index value acquisition processing is then carried out on a bone tissue image, which has been obtained from the bone tissue pattern emphasis processing and represents an emphasized pattern of the structure of the bone tissue. The index value accurately representing the condition of the structure of the bone tissue is thereby acquired non-invasively in accordance with the radiation image.
