  • Patent number: 11961647
Abstract: Vibration of an iron core is reduced to reduce transformer noise. An iron core for a transformer comprises a plurality of grain-oriented electrical steel sheets stacked together, wherein at least one of the plurality of grain-oriented electrical steel sheets: (1) has a region in which closure domains are formed in a direction crossing a rolling direction and a region in which no closure domains are formed; (2) has an area ratio R0 of 0.10% to 3.0%, the area ratio R0 being defined as a ratio of S0 to S; and (3) has an area ratio R1a of 50% or more, the area ratio R1a being defined as a ratio of S1a to S1.

  • Patent number: 11950462
Abstract: A first conductive layer in the same layer as that of a first electrode is coupled to a third conductive layer and a second electrode in the same layer as that of a third metal layer through a slit formed in a flattening film of a non-display area. Second conductive layers in the same layer as that of a second metal layer are provided to overlap with the slit.

  • Patent number: 6636777
Abstract: A power feeder (10) includes a flexible strip (12) having a conducting front side (12a) and an insulating back side (12b); a retainer unit (20) for holding the strip wrapped on a bar (18) with the back side being in close contact with the bar; a feeder unit (22) connected electrically with the front side of the strip; and a base (26) mounted detachably on the headstock (24) of an automatic lathe. A tool-positioning device (14) including this power feeder includes a driving unit (60) for bringing a tool (56) to be positioned into contact with the front side of the strip; a section (62) for detecting a conduction between the tool and the front side of the strip through the feeder unit to determine the position of contact with the tool; and a corrective processing section (64) for determining the position of a center axis (18a) of the bar based on the position of the determined position of contact with the tool.

  • Patent number: 5665254
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a reinforcing bar cage, which is used in a cast-in-place piling method of constructing a reinforced concrete pile for a structure, and an apparatus for manufacturing the same, which allow simple and easy manufacturing of a reinforcing bar cage having an intended cage strength. A hoop is disposed, e.g., spirally with respect to cylindrically arranged main reinforcements, connection between the main reinforcements and the hoop is made by welding crossed portions thereof, and, in connection with the welding, the crossed portions are heated to achieve an intended strength of the reinforcing bar cage.

  • Patent number: 4811525
Abstract: A supporting member is vertically slidably mounted on a grinding head body which is vertically slidably mounted on a cross rail of a grinding machine. A jaw is provided on the supporting member at an end thereof. A grinding-wheel spindle assembly includes a center shaft one end of which is secured to the grinding head body and the other end is supported between the jaw and an end of the supporting member, and a sleeve rotatably mounted on the center shaft. A grinding wheel is secured to the sleeve. In order to permit replacement of the grinding wheel, the jaw is opened and the supporting member is retracted from an operating position where the center shaft is supported by the jaw to a retracted position apart from the center shaft.
