  • Publication number: 20110140539
Abstract: A high frequency electric wire is provided in such a manner that a large number of wires are bundled, twisted and insulated with an outer sheath S. Each wire has an extra-fine hollow pipe structure of a capillary shape. The wire is provided to make its hollow section with the extra-fine hollow pipe structure an air cavity or to cause its hollow section to house an insulating material. In the latter case, the wire is provided by causing a metal conductor to adhere to the outer periphery of an extra-fine insulating yarn, which serves as the insulating material, by plating or vapor-deposition. The electric wire is used as a circuit cable or a coil in a non-contact power feeding device which supplies power based on a mutual induction action of the electromagnetic induction. In this manner, the electric wire fulfills its function to suppress and reduce an increase of the alternating current resistance due to a high frequency alternating current.

  • Publication number: 20110096314
Abstract: The optical device of the present invention includes an optical element; a first holding member that holds the optical element; and a second holding member that holds the first holding member via a plurality of connections, and has a linear expansion coefficient different from that of each one of the optical element and the first holding member. When the plurality of connections are displaced upon receiving a force depending on the difference of the linear expansion coefficients between the first holding member and the second holding member, the first holding member causes the connection to the optical element to be displaced in a predetermined direction different from the displacement. The predetermined direction is the opposite direction of a force received by the connection between the optical element and the first holding member, depending on the difference of the linear expansion coefficients between the optical element and the second holding member.

  • Patent number: 7902003
Abstract: An image display device capable of high-resolution and smooth moving image display, equipped with TFTs in an n-type (or p-type) semiconductor layer with a high on-off ratio and a low resistance. In polysilicon crystallization by laser annealing, an n-type (or p-type) semiconductor layer with a low resistance is produced by performing the following processes in order: implanting nitrogen (N) ions into an amorphous silicon precursor semiconductor film; laser crystallization; implanting n-type (or p-type) dopant ions; and annealing for dopant activation. When fabricating TFTs, this low-resistance semiconductor layer is used to form a source and a drain. Since C, N, and O impurities decrease the mobility of the TFTs, polysilicon is used in which the contaminants concentrations meet the following conditions: carbon concentration ?3×1019 cm?3, nitrogen concentration ?5×1017 cm?3, and oxygen concentration ?3×1019 cm?3.

  • Patent number: 7835639
Abstract: When the mode is set to a strobe consecutive shooting mode, an imaging apparatus sets the mode to a pixel addition drive mode for reading out image data using pixel addition drive (S7), performs metering operation using preliminary flashing (S8) and calculates an appropriate amount of flashing on the basis of the metering operation (S9). Next, the imaging apparatus judges whether or not it is possible to flash three times consecutively with the calculated amount of flashing (S10). If it is judged that it is not possible to flash three times consecutively with the calculated amount of flashing (NO in S10), the imaging apparatus limits the amount of flashing to the largest amount of flashing within the range of amounts of flashing with which flashing of strobe light three times consecutively is possible (S11), and performs strobe consecutive shooting with the limited amount of flashing (S13 to S17).

  • Patent number: 7829754
Abstract: A soil cleaning method (phytoremediation) of absorbing a contaminating substance contained in a contaminated soil by a plant to clean the soil. An object of the present invention is to provide a method of cleaning a contaminated soil which performs cleaning of a soil containing heavy metals in a shorter term than before and, at the same time, utilizes phytoremediation having little influence on the environment. The object is attained by absorbing heavy metals by a plant of Polygonaceae family, Fagopyrum genus, and, at the same time, adding a biodegradable chelating agent to a contaminated soil in order to assist the absorption. • Publication number: 20100240828
Abstract: A silicone rubber composition, which comprises 100 parts by weight of vinyl group-introduced methylphenylvinyl-based silicone rubber obtained by copolymerization of dimethylsiloxane copolymerization units as the main component with 3-30 mol. % of methylphenylsiloxane copolymerization units, and 0.2-8 parts by weight of an organic peroxide, where introduction of vinyl groups into the silicone rubber can be attained generally by copolymerization of 0.1-5 mol. % of methylvinylsiloxane. When silica is used as a filler, it is desirable to use a surfactant for silica, and water together. Owing to distinguished low-temperature characteristics and blister resistance, the present silicone rubber composition can be used a suitable seal material for a high-pressure hydrogen gas storage tank, for example, to storage under 70 MPa, and particularly as suitable vulcanization-molding materials for O rings, packings, gaskets, oil seals, valves, etc.

  • Patent number: 7788108
Abstract: A period required for a time-consuming cross-contamination test is cut down or omitted, and a burden imposed on the customer by the costs of samples, reagents, etc. used in the test are reduced. A data failure caused by cross-contamination can be efficiently prevented. A maintenance service office establishes a connection via a communication line between a computer installed in the maintenance service office for maintenance of automatic analyzers and a customer's automatic analyzer or a personal computer placed in a customer's facility. The maintenance service office receives information regarding cross-contamination from reagent manufacturers and other customers (such as clinical examination rooms or centers) and validates it. The validated information is transmitted from the maintenance service office to the customer's automatic analyzer or personal computer via the communication line.
