  • Publication number: 20240150944
Abstract: Provided are: a fiber structure including two types of heat-crosslinkable thermoplastic resins; and a crosslinked molded body obtained by heat-crosslinking the thermoplastic resins with each other. The fiber structure includes at least a thermoplastic resin A and a thermoplastic resin B both heat-crosslinkable with each other. The thermoplastic resin A is an amorphous epoxy-type resin, and at least one of the thermoplastic resins A and B has a fiber shape.

  • Patent number: 11754776
Abstract: A light-emitting fiber includes a core and a cladding and is configured to emit light through a side surface of the fiber. A resin used for the core is at least one selected from the group consisting of polymethyl methacrylate, polymethyl methacrylate copolymers, polystyrene, polycarbonates, polyorganosiloxanes, and norbornene, and a resin used for the cladding is fluorine resin. The light-emitting fiber has a fiber diameter of 95 ?m or less.

  • Publication number: 20220363810
Abstract: Provided is an amorphous epoxy fiber excellent in dimensional stability, a fiber structure comprising at least in part amorphous epoxy fibers, and a molded body formed by melting said fibers. The amorphous epoxy fiber has a birefringence value of 0.005 or lower. For example, the amorphous epoxy fiber may include an amorphous epoxy resin represented by the following general formula: in which, X is a residue of a bivalent phenol and n is 20 or greater (preferably 20 to 300, more preferably 40 to 280, still more preferably 50 to 250). The amorphous epoxy fiber may have an average fiber diameter of single fibers of 40 ?m or smaller.

  • Publication number: 20220205140
Abstract: Provided are a polycarbonate fiber having a specific orientation degree and/or a specific birefringence value, a fiber structure as well as a resin composite body. The polycarbonate fiber may have an orientation degree (ft) of lower than 0.70, the orientation degree (ft) being defined by the following formula: ft=1?(1.0/C)2, C: obtained sonic velocity (km/sec), and may have a birefringence value of 0.04 or lower. The polycarbonate fiber may comprise a polycarbonate resin having a number-average molecular weight (Mn) of from 12000 to 40000 and/or a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of from 25000 to 80000.
