  • Patent number: 9858643
Abstract: An image generating device includes: a storage section that stores images of surrounding spaces centered at plural different fixed points; a detecting section that detects translational movement on the basis of the location of the point of view; an image processor that acquires an image of a displaying target by clipping out part of the image of the surrounding space centered at the fixed point, stored in the storage section, on the basis of the location of the point of view and the direction of the line of sight; and a switching section that makes switching to the image of the surrounding space centered at another fixed point closest to the point of view after translational movement if the plural different fixed points are so disposed that the surrounding spaces centered at the fixed points overlap with each other in a world coordinate system and translational movement is detected.

  • Patent number: 9833719
Abstract: A robot 150 is placed on a touch panel. When touch sensor action sections 156a to 156c provided on a bottom face 150b of the robot act on a touch pad, an information processing device shows a face image in a rectangular area 16 of a display screen 14 of the touch panel. The rectangular area 16 corresponds to the bottom face of the robot. The face image is grabbed from the bottom face 150b of the robot 150 and appears in a face section 152. Further, the brightness of pixels in areas 18a and 18b of the display screen 14 is changed. The areas 18a and 18b correspond to optical sensors 160a and 160b provided on the bottom face 150b of the robot. The robot 150 detects the change in question, converting the change into a motion of an internal actuator, sound output, light emission, and so on in accordance with predetermined rules.

  • Publication number: 20170302897
Abstract: A processing apparatus includes a processing section acquiring a position in which a card is placed, and a rendering control section controlling projection of an image by a projection apparatus. On the basis of the position in which the card is placed, the rendering control section causes the projection apparatus to project the image associated with the card onto the card in a manner larger than the card. An image projecting method includes acquiring a position in which a card is placed, and on the basis of the position in which the card is placed, causing a projection apparatus to project an image associated with the card onto the card in a manner larger than the card.

  • Patent number: 9729788
Abstract: A characteristic point extraction unit extracts a characteristic point in an overlapping region of a plurality of component images picked up using a camera built in portable equipment and having pan angles or elevation angles different from each other. A self-position estimation unit estimates three-dimensional coordinate values of the characteristic point and three-dimensional coordinate values of a camera position, which are associated with each other, at the same time in two component images in which the camera positions are displaced from each other. A panoramic image generation unit adjusts, based on the estimated three-dimensional coordinate values of the camera position, the three-dimensional coordinate values of the characteristic point of the component image to correct the component image and combine a plurality of component images having pan angles or elevation angles different from each other to generate a synthesis image.

  • Publication number: 20170182412
Abstract: By extracting figures of a play field and a display apparatus from a taken image, the positional coordinates of the play field and a screen in a world coordinate system are obtained. Next, a virtual world is built such that the ground of the virtual world is positioned continually flush with the surface of the play field in a real world, on the opposite side of the real world with the screen in between in a virtual space defined in the world coordinate system. Then, a virtual viewpoint is placed at a position corresponding to the viewpoint of a user in a real space so as to generate an image with the virtual world projected to the screen on the basis of this virtual viewpoint as a display image.

  • Publication number: 20170176215
Abstract: A number n of Hall elements of a position detecting device output analog detection signals responsive to magnetism from a magnet of a piston. A number n of AD converters carry out analog to digital conversion to convert the analog detection signals into digital detection signals. A ladder circuit receives, as an n-bit digital signal, the digital detection signals output from a number n of magnetic detectors, and performs digital to analog conversion thereof into a single analog output signal. A control IC detects an approximate position of the piston on the basis of the single analog output signal that is input thereto.

  • Publication number: 20170024934
Abstract: In an information processing system 1, an information processing apparatus 10 recognizes, when a user moves real bodies 120a and 120b arranged on a play field 19, the movement on the basis of, for example, an image taken by a camera 122 taking an image of the movement to interlock objects of corresponding characters 202a and 202b displayed on a display apparatus 16. In addition, when the user moves the characters 202a and 202b through an input apparatus 14, the information processing apparatus 10 transmits a control signal to the corresponding real bodies 120a and 120b to perform interlocking. When a situation in which interlocking between the real bodies 120a and 120b and the characters 202a and 202b is difficult occurs, an appropriate scenario is selected from the scenarios prepared in advance and realized, thereby maintaining the consistency.

  • Publication number: 20170011247
Abstract: A sheet body 30 includes first and second sheets 40 and 60 that transmit infrared radiation. A rear face of the first sheet 40 is opposed to a front face of the second sheet 60. An information code is marked on a front or rear face of the second sheet 60 by using an infrared absorbing material. The rear face of the first sheet 40 and the front face of the second sheet 60 are stuck together with a highly infrared transmitting adhesive. • Publication number: 20160334885
Abstract: A core information receiving section of an information processing device receives information related to the state of a core from a first block of a block set assembled by a user. A structure analyzing section identifies the shape, posture, and position of the block set on the basis of an image photographed by a camera and the information related to the state of the core. An information processing section performs predetermined information processing according to the shape, posture, and position of the block set or an operation on an input device by the user. A display processing section generates an image to be displayed as a result of the information processing, and outputs the image to a display device. A driving control section transmits a signal for controlling the operation of the block set.

  • Publication number: 20160332075
Abstract: An information processing device communicates with a block set assembled by a user, and thereby obtains information on the structure of the block set. In addition, a corresponding position setting screen including an image of an object corresponding to the block set is displayed on a display device. The user moves a joint of the block set which joint is desired to be associated, by for example bending and stretching the joint. Next, the user indicates a joint to be associated on a 3D object side in the image of the 3D object by a cursor, and performs a determination input. The joint of the block set and the joint of the 3D object are thereby associated with each other. The block set and the object are interlocked with each other bidirectionally by thus setting the corresponding positions of the block set and the object.

Abstract: A block set assembled by a user and an information processing device communicate with each other. The information processing device thereby obtains information on the structure of the block set. In addition, an object of a crane truck corresponding to the block set is displayed on a display device. Correspondences between joints and wheels and correspondences between movements are set. Thereby, when the block set is moved, the movement of the block set is reflected in the object on display.
