  • Patent number: 4763662
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes an operation section and an insertion section adapted to be inserted into the body cavity of a human being. The insertion section has an insertion channel extending therethrough. A guide sheath is slidably inserted into the channel and has a distal end portion pivotally supported on the distal end of the insertion section by link arms. An ultrasonic probe is fixed to the distal end of the insertion section. An image guide extends through the sheath to the end face thereof. A guide channel for guiding a puncture needle extends through the sheath and opens at the end face thereof. When being pushed out from the insertion section the distal end portion of the sheath is pivotted to change its direction.

  • Patent number: 4757819
Abstract: An ultrasonic endoscope according to the present invention comprises an insertion portion having a hard distal end portion. A first holding member is provided to the hard distal end portion, and an ultrasonic vibrator is mounted on the first holding member. A second holding member, detachably mounted with respect to the first holding member, is provided at the hard distal end portion, and an observation optical system is mounted on the second holding member. The second holding member is fixed to the first holding member by a fixing means. In the ultrasonic endoscope with the above arrangement, the first holder for holding the ultrasonic vibrator can be separated from the second holder for holding the observation optical system.

  • Patent number: 4742287
Abstract: A motor driving device in a printer wherein a selection signal for carrying out the driving selection of the respective stepping motors in outputted from a control circuit to the stepping motor for an automatic paper feeding mechanism of forms which comprises one of two driven sections and an other stepping motor for a form feeding mechanism which comprises the other driving section in a printer to select one of these motors through drive selection elements corresponding to respective stepping motors, and in which a phase control signal is successively sent to phase current flowing elements provided commonly in the same phase coils or both stepping motors, respectively, and the switching operation of the phase coils of the selected stepping motor is carried out to rotate and drive said motor, and the rotation position of said motor is always recognized by memorizing the corresponding data of each output of said phase control signal, and after the other motor has been selectively driven, in selecting said one

  • Patent number: 4732502
Abstract: A printing mechanism assembly, including a platen, a carriage bearing a print head thereon, a ribbon cassette, and drive mechanisms for driving these members for printing operation, is mounted on a subframe to form a unit. Also, control means including a printed board for controlling the operations of the drive mechanisms, and power supply means for supplying electric power to the drive mechanisms through the control means are unitized independently. All of the resulting units are mounted on a main frame. The subframe, with the printing mechanism assembly thereon, is removably mounted on the rear half portion of the main frame; the control unit on the underside of the main frame, and the power supply unit in a notch formed at the front corner portion of the main frame. Power supply units of various specifications may be used alternatively which incorporate different transformers adapted for varied external supply voltage connected thereto.

  • Patent number: 4723857
Abstract: A printing mechanism assembly, which includes a platen, a print head opposed to the platen for printing operation, a carriage carrying the print head thereon, and a guide rod for supporting the carriage so as to be movable along a print line, is supported on a plastic subframe. The subframe is provided integrally with channel-shaped reinforcing members extending parallel to the platen at front and rear end portions of the subframe. Each reinforcing member is formed integrally with a number of reinforcing ribs arranged at regular intervals in the longitudinal direction of the member. The subframe is mounted, at its front and rear end portions, on a main frame. For the mounting arrangement, engaging projections are formed on the rear end portion so that they can substantially horizontally engage mounting recesses in the main frame with the aid of vibration-proof rubber members.

  • Patent number: 4411174
Abstract: In order to control shifting of the transmission of a vehicle, from the viewpoint of obtaining the optimum fuel economy and/or power output performance, a transmission shift control device is proposed which comprises a throttle sensor which generates a throttle signal, an engine speed sensor which generates an engine speed signal, a shift position sensor which generates a shift position signal indicating the present operating gear of the transmission, a memory which stores a relationship between the throttle opening and the engine speed for each shift position or operating gear of the transmission to give a target value for one of these two signals in accordance with the other of them, and a comparator which receives one of the above two signals and compares it with the target value therefor given from the memory and generates either an upshift signal or a downshift signal which is indicated to the driver or sent to the transmission so as automatically to shift it.
