  • Patent number: 4414551
Abstract: A power antenna control circuit used in a vehicle wherein a relay coil is connected to a battery through a transistor and a limit switch at the antenna lowering side and a circuit for rotating a motor by a relay switch. The transistor is turned off when an ignition switch is turned on and turned on when the ignition switch is turned off. While the ignition switch is on, the relay coil is not excited, thus enabling to reduce the electricity consumption of the battery. When the ignition is turned on, the relay coil is excited to form a circuit for rotating the motor in a direction of lowering the antenna, and, when the lowering of the antenna is completed, supply of the current to the motor and the relay coil is interrupted through the agency of the limit switch at the antenna lowering side.

  • Patent number: 4389639
Abstract: A device for producing a voice warning over a speaker which is also used with an entertainment sound production system such as a radio or cassette recorder. The voice warning device incorporates a switching device in the circuit between the speaker and a source of entertainment sound-bearing electric signals, and also incorporates a mechanism for selectively generating electric signals representing human voice sounds for conveying warnings. When a warning signal is being generated, the switching device is switched over from its state where it connects the speaker to the entertainment sound-bearing electric signals to its state where it connects the speaker to the warning signals. Optionally, several different speakers of an entertainment system may be selectively connected to said warning signals by several switching devices.

  • Patent number: 3971029
Abstract: A radio antenna device having an antenna wire and a gain increasing antenna secured to the rear window of motor vehicle in the same manner as is used for a moisture preventive heat wire. An antenna wire is secured to the rear window of a motor vehicle in an attempt to reduce such disturbance in receiving a radio wave, which accrues from an engine, electric generator and electric motor mounted on a motor vehicle or for the purpose of eliminating a space for mounting an antenna, while a gain increasing antenna is provided for compensating for the reduction in radio-wave receiving level, which is caused by shielding action of a moisture preventive heat wire which is secured to the rear window or a portion of a vehicle body, which extends along the periphery of the rear window.

  • Patent number: 3964068
Abstract: A radio antenna device having a gain compensating circuit and an antenna wire rigidly secured to the rear window of a motor vehicle, coupled with a moisture preventive heat wire. The antenna wire is secured to the rear window of the motor vehicle so as to reduce the noise in the received radio waves, which results from electrical noise from the vehicle engine, electric generator and electric motor. The rear window also serves as a convenient antenna space. A gain compensating circuit is provided for compensating for the reduction in the level of the received radio wave, which reduction is caused by the shielding action of the moisture preventive heat wire secured to the rear window and the portion of the body of the vehicle, which extends along the periphery of a rear window.
