  • Patent number: 7966903
Abstract: A rod-lock mechanism is provided in an automatic transmission for a vehicle. The rod-lock mechanism has an engaging pin which will be engaged with a rod when the rod is in its initial position, so as to hold the rod in its initial position. The rod-lock mechanism further has an electric actuator for driving the engaging pin when electric power is supplied, so that the engaging pin is brought out of engagement from the rod. A forced parking current supply unit controls electric power supply to the electric actuator. • Publication number: 20110135516
Abstract: An electric pump includes a stator, a rotor, a shaft, a bearing part, and a pump unit. The stator has a magnetic part, and the stator forms a rotation magnetic field when a coil of the stator is energized. The bearing part has a longitudinal central position that is positioned on an imaginary plane perpendicular to a rotation axis of the rotor. • Patent number: 7948145
Abstract: A plurality of concavities and convexities is provided on tips of all rotor teeth 24 of the SR motor 5. Depths of the concave portions ? are deep on an edge side where a stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 first approach and are shallow as a facing area between the stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 increases. Therefore, magnetic resistance between the stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 becomes high at an early stage of the stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 facing each other and becomes low as the facing area between the stator tooth 23 and rotor tooth 24 increases. As a result, torque fluctuation can be suppressed at a time of a large current and a minimum generation torque can be increased at a time of a small current.

  • Patent number: 7845248
Abstract: A shift-by-wire control system includes a parking lock device that brings an output shaft of an automatic transmission device to a lock state when a range switching unit switches to the P-range. The parking lock device brings the output shaft to a lock-release state when the range switching unit switches to another shift range. An electric motor actuates the range switching unit and the parking lock device in accordance with an instruction of an operator. A manual device transmits manual operation force of the operator to the parking lock device when the electric motor stops. The manual device includes a one-way transmission unit permitting transmission of the manual operation force in a direction toward the lock state, and prohibiting transmission of the manual operation force in a direction toward the lock-release state.

  • Patent number: 7549352
Abstract: A shift control system rotates an actuator to cause a wall of a detent plate to contact a roller of a detent spring, and detects the position of contact so as to detect the position of the wall of the detent plate. This wall position is set as a reference position of the actuator. Accordingly, the rotation of the actuator can appropriately be controlled even if an encoder which can only detect relative positional information is employed, and thus the shift range can appropriately be switched.

  • Publication number: 20090140599
Abstract: A thin plate 80x forming a stator tooth 80 has two convex portions 83 on each of side faces 80b, 80c. Four convex portions 83 are a sharpened convex portion 83a of which a tip portion has a thickness thinner than a thickness of the thin plate 80x. When a bobbin 81 wound with an exciting coil 22 is press-fitted around the stator tooth 80, four lines of convex portions formed by laminating the thin plates 80x cut in an inner wall of the bobbin 81, the strength for fixing and holding the bobbin 81 can be increased in a radial, lamination and rotating directions, so that the position of the bobbin 81 assembled in a right position can be maintained.

  • Publication number: 20090000411
Abstract: A shift range change mechanism changes a shift range of an automatic transmission of a vehicle. A parking change mechanism disables rotation of a drive axle of the vehicle by engaging a park pole supported by a stationary member against a parking gear, which is rotated synchronously with the drive axle of the vehicle, at time of setting the shift range to parking. The parking change mechanism enables the rotation of the drive axle by disengaging the park pole from the parking gear at time of parking release of the shift range. An electric rotatable actuator drives the shift range change mechanism and the parking change mechanism. An SBW ECU controls power supply to an electric motor of the rotatable actuator. The SBW ECU increases an output torque of the electric motor only at the time of the parking release.
