    Abstract: In a method for manufacturing a composite-metal-forming material, heating a metal material a Mg alloy or an Al alloy is heated to a temperature in a region where a solid and a liquid are both present to thereby yield a semi-molten metal material in a semi-molten state. An additive material is introduced to the semi-molten metal material and kneading is performed to obtain a composite metal material. The composite metal material is heated to a solution temperature of the metal material and a solution treatment is performed to thereby yield a composite-metal-forming material.

    Abstract: A device for melting, storing, and feeding a metal material is provided which can store a large amount of molten metal material corresponding to molding cycles with a compact configuration, using barrels to melt bar-shaped metal materials and a tank-and-barrel storage unit to store the molten metal material. The storage unit for the molten metal material is composed of an upper storage tank and a lower material temperature control barrel having a smaller diameter, the barrel being perpendicularly arranged under and in communication with the bottom center of the tank. The melting barrels for bar-shaped metal materials are made of barrel bodies having an inside diameter and a length appropriate to accommodate the bar-shaped metal materials. A more than one melting barrel is vertically arranged in parallel on a lid member of the storage tank, with their bottom openings facing the inside of the storage tank.

    Abstract: An electrical connector is offered which has a crimp contact connected with a connector cable, the crimp contact being held in position to a connector housing without rattling. The crimp contact has sidewall surfaces of U-shaped cross section. The sidewall surfaces are located on opposite sides. The sidewall surfaces have outwardly facing engagement protrusions. The connector housing has a connector body and a disengagement-preventing cover for closing a top portion of the connector body to prevent the crimp contact from coming off upward after the crimp contact has been mounted in the connector body. The connector body has engagement portions in which the protrusions of the crimp contact are inserted and received perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the connector cable. The protrusions are engaged in the engagement portions. The disengagement-preventing cover is mounted to the connector body via a hinge such that the cover can be opened and closed.

The housing has accommodation portions for receiving the contacts. A part of the metal shell has a shielding wall surface surrounding the entire outer periphery of a peripheral wall forming the connection portion of the housing with a given gap therebetween.
