The input circuit includes a first button that is used to set a start point as a measurement start position and an end point as a measurement end position upon measuring the size of a measurement object on the ultrasound image displayed on the display. The processing circuitry is configured to cause the display to display the ultrasound image, and determine whether the end point is set with the first button or with a second button other than the first button.
