The air intake device of the internal combustion engine includes an air cleaner including an upper casing and a lower casing detachably coupled to each other and incorporating a filter element, an atmospheric air introduction pipe for introducing air to the air cleaner, and an intake pipe extending from the air cleaner to the intake manifold.

    Abstract: An air-cleaner support structure includes an air-cleaner, a first support portion and a second support portion. The air-cleaner is supported in an engine room via the first support portion and the second support portion. The first support portion is connected to the air cleaner using a bolt and the second support portion is connected to the air-cleaner using an insert member. The distance from the engine to the first support portion is shorter than the distance from the engine to the second support portion.

The air cleaner is provided at an end of the head cover in a direction of the crank axis so that the lower casing of the air cleaner vertically corresponds to the head cover.
