  • Patent number: 5124714
Abstract: A plane antenna for automobiles including a peripheral conducting surface, a first inner conducting surface provided in the peripheral conducting surface with a space in between, a second inner conducting surface provided in the first inner conducting surface with a space in between. A core conductor of a first coaxial line is connected to the first inner conducting surface and an outer skin of the first coaxial line is connected to the peripheral conducting surface, and a core conductor of a second coaxial line is connected to the second inner conducting surface and an outer skin of the second coaxial line is connected to the first inner conducting surface. The second coaxial line can be divided into two sections so that these sections are inductively connected to each other by coils.

  • Patent number: 5019830
Abstract: An FM wave antenna including a coaxial cable, a parallel conductor which are provided parallel to a metal conductor such as a vehicle body and an amplifier provided between the coaxial cable and the parallel conductor. The coaxial cable is made up of a central core and inductive outer sheath and one end of the inductive outer sheath is connected to the metal conductor, and one end of the parallel conductor is also connected to the metal conductor. The amplifier amplifies signals from the parallel conductor and inductive outer sheath of the coaxial cable and outputs amplified signals to the central core of the coaxial cable.

  • Patent number: 4950091
Abstract: A rod antenna control system for automobiles wherein electric current is supplied continuously to a motor which pushes up an antenna motor when a current below a predetermined value is flowing to the motor, and the current is supplied intermittently to the motor when a current above a predetermined value flows to the motor, and whether or not the electric current is over or below the predetermined value is determined by integrating the motor current for certain period of time and comparing such integrated value to the predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 4942311
Abstract: An automobile antenna control device generating a reset pulse which starts the operation of a microcomputer. The pulse is generated when an automobile radio power source is switched from "off" to "on," or when the power source is switched from "on" to "off," so that a so-called runaway of the microcomputer can be prevented. The power source is connected to an input port of the microcomputer; the antenna is extended when the power source is "on," and is retracted when the power source is "off." The extending or retracting action of the antenna is stopped when the starter power source of the master key switch of the automobile is "on.

  • Patent number: 4939484
Abstract: Inductance coupling type transmission channel couplers mounted on either side of an insulator such as window glass of a vehicle including a pair of resonator, each including a cylindrical outer conductor and a helical conductor coaxially provided in the outer conductor with one end connected thereto. The resonant frequency of the tuning inductance circuit thus constructed is set at 1/3 of an objective frequency, and the ratio between the inner diameter and the outer diameter of the helical conductor is set at 1.1-2.0.

  • Patent number: 4802022
Abstract: A CATV system for a guest facility such as a hotel including a monitor installed in each room of the facility, an activator for activating the monitor with a signal sent from the front office of the facility, a sensor for detecting a guest who has entered the room and comes close to the monitor, and a display controller for displaying guest information such as a hotel guide on the monitor when the sensor detects the presence of the guest proximity of the monitor.

  • Patent number: 4621243
Abstract: A transmission channel coupler for an antenna including two resonators, each resonator being formed with a helical conductor and an outer conductor which is disposed outside of the helical conductor by sharing the same axis with the helical conductor. One end of the helical conductor is electrically connected to the inner wall of the outer conductor, and the other end of the helical conductor is connected to a printed circuit board mounted at the end of the outer conductor so that the helical conductor is positioned inside the outer conductor. The resonators are coaxially mounted on the either side of a glass such as the rear window of a car, window of a building, etc. By means of the structure above, high frequency signals are transmitted through an insulating material, that is, the glass, without damaging it. Also, the coupler can be manufactured small in size and provides excellent frequency characteristics with less transmission loss.

Each resonator has a helical conductor and an outer conductor which is disposed outside of the helical conductor by sharing the same axis with the helical conductor. One end of the helical conductor is electrically connected to the inner wall of the outer conductor, and the other end of the helical conductor is positioned within the area defined by an end face of the outer conductor.
