  • Patent number: 8088570
Abstract: There is provided a screening method which can select a photoaging-preventing or improving agent or a wrinkle-preventing or improving agent with efficiency and reliability. The screening method for a photoaging- or wrinkle-preventing or improving agent selects, as a candidate, a substance inhibiting the expression of keratin 6 and/or keratin 16 genes or keratin 6 and/or keratin 16 proteins in a skin tissue or cell.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 18, 2006
Date of Patent: January 3, 2012
    Assignee: Kao Corporation
Inventors: Tsutomu Fujimura, Takuji Kume, Akira Hachiya
  • Patent number: 7649118
Abstract: There are provided a novel norbornene derivative which is a material for a chemically amplifying type photoresist for F2 laser, possesses excellent transparency and improved dry etching resistivity and has a fluorine-containing ketone unit or fluorine-containing tertiary alcohol unit directly bonded to the norbornene backbone; a fluorine-containing polymer obtained by using the norbornene derivative as a copolymerizable monomer; and a chemically amplifying type photoresist composition comprising the fluorine-containing polymer, a photoacid generator and a solvent.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 4, 2007
Date of Patent: January 19, 2010

  • Patent number: 7592484
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing carbonyl difluoride comprising a step of reacting trifluoromethane with oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas while heating.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 26, 2005
Date of Patent: September 22, 2009

  • Patent number: 7427407
Abstract: Cosmetics containing the following components (A) and (B): (A) an oil-absorbing powder having a squalane-absorbing ability of 1 ml/g or more; and (B) a compound having an affinity for component (A) lower than that of sebum, and having an ability to absorb the sebum and release component (B) in exchange for the sebum when the cosmetic is applied onto the skin. These cosmetics can adequately absorb the sebum and thus exhibit excellent effects of relieving or preventing oiliness of the skin and worsening in makeup. By selecting an appropriate compound to be released in exchange for the absorbed sebum, a substance capable of improving the skin qualities such as moistness, tightness, and tension can be allowed to penetrate into the skin. Moreover, a bodily feeling of the removal of the sebum can be imparted to users thereby.
