Publication number: 20150024355Abstract: A lighter and a method for monitoring smoking behavior include a lighter having a housing and a lockable lighting element secured to the housing. A smoking reduction plan includes smoking reduction goals specific to the user of the lighter, such as a maximum number of daily cigarettes, and a time interval between cigarette smoking events. The user operates a trigger to activate the lighting element to light a cigarette. When the lighting element is activated for a sufficient duration of time, the lighter records a smoking event. A microprocessor is configured for controlling the operation of the lighting element. When the elapsed time since the most recent smoking event is less than the target smoking interval, or when a user has reached the maximum daily cigarette limit, the microprocessor may optionally render the lighting element inoperable.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 17, 2014Publication date: January 22, 2015Inventors: Amir Ata Ghofrani, Takuji Nakano, Adam Eltorai

Patent number: 8061523Abstract: A purifier is provided that is capable of uniformly sucking powder in a width direction of the sieve layers even when the purifier is configured to be provided with an air distribution chamber formed as being tapered upward and to have a horizontal cyclone provided above the air distribution chamber. The air distribution chamber is configured of paired inclined surfaces formed as being tapered upward, has a suction passage formed as a horizontal cyclone placed above the air distribution chamber. Also, a plurality of barrier walls are provided in the air distribution chamber in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of sieve layers, the air distribution chamber is sectioned by the barrier walls into a plurality of chambers, and rectifying plates are further provided to the air distribution chamber at a narrow position between the paired inclined surfaces to prevent non-uniformity of suction of powder on the sieve layers.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2010Date of Patent: November 22, 2011Assignee: Satake CorporationInventors: Shigeki Uebayashi, Masakazu Kobayashi, Takuji Nakano

Patent number: 6513612Abstract: A steering ski for a snowmobile is disclosed. The steering ski comprises a ski body and a wear bar connected to a ski bracket. The ski bracket is used to attach the ski to the balance of the snowmobile. The ski body also receives a reinforcing member that reinforces a portion of the ski body which is curved upwardly. Reinforcing ribs travel along the length of the ski body on an upper portion of the ski body. The sole of the ski body or lower surface includes a keel that expand in width from a forward-most portion and then decreases in width rearward of a juncture between a snow contacting portion of the ski body and the upwardly-extending portion of the ski body. A wear bar is positioned along the keel and depends below a lowermost portion of the keel rearward of the widest portion of the keel. The wear bar extends into the ski body through a forward aperture and a rearward aperture.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2001Date of Patent: February 4, 2003Assignee: Yamaha Hatsudoki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takashi Moriyama, Takuji Nakano

Patent number: 5507603Abstract: First of all, a high molecular sheet comprising a composite whose principal component is a special water soluble high molecular compound, or a multilayer sheet wherein a water soluble high molecular layer is piled on sheet material is prepared. Then, said sheet is layered on the entry side of a lamination substrate comprising insulating material and metallic foil. In this state, thru-holes are formed in the lamination substrate through said sheet. When forming thru-holes, said water soluble high molecular compound serves as a lubricant so as to extend drill life. In addition, it is possible to drill a lot of substrates, which are layered, at one time, resulting in the improvement of production efficiency.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 1994Date of Patent: April 16, 1996Assignee: Dai-Ichi Kogyo Seiyaku Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takuji Nakano, Takeshi Fujita, Katsuaki Matsuo, Chuzo Isoda
