Abstract: A road surface survey device specifies a position at which abnormality is detected at one of a position at which abnormality on pavement of a road surface is detected from an image of a road captured by a camera and a position at which abnormality on pavement of a road surface is detected from a change in an acceleration measured when a car runs on the road surface by a G sensor. Further, the road surface survey device derives conditions that abnormality which is not detected at the specified position can be detected, and outputs an instruction of a resurvey for the specified position under the derived conditions.

Abstract: An apparatus performs user authentication based on biological information for organizations. Each organization employs a biological authentication method with a biological authentication device. The apparatus stores thresholds corresponding to the biological authentication methods, acquires a matching degree between registered biological information of a user and biological information read by a biological authentication device employed by any of the organizations, and performs user authentication based on the threshold stored and the matching degree acquired.

Abstract: A system determines whether purchase history information of a customer satisfies a credit balance increment condition with reference to a first storage that stores the purchase history information of the customer. If the purchase history information satisfies the credit balance increment condition, the member store calculates a credit balance increment rate on its own risk. The member store approves a payment by the credit card when the requested payment price is lower than the product of the credit balance by the credit balance increment rate even if the requested payment price is higher than the credit balance.
