    Abstract: A vehicle body rear structure includes: a rear wheel house; a rear cross member located on a vehicle width direction inner side of a lower portion of the rear wheel house and extending in a vehicle width direction; a pillar extending upward from an upper portion of the rear wheel house; a wheel house reinforcing member extending along the rear wheel house and connecting between the rear cross member and the pillar; a retractor functioning as a seat belt winding device; and a bracket configured to fix the retractor to a vehicle body. The bracket has one end portion connected to the wheel house reinforcing member. The bracket has another portion extending from the one end portion in the vehicle forward direction or in the vehicle rearward direction and connected to the rear wheel house.
