    Abstract: A key weight for a key of a keyboard instrument includes a weight body, a guide portion extending in a vertical direction and further downward than a front surface of the weight body, and a pair of left and right first latched portions provided at the respective lower portions of opposite side surfaces of the guide portion. When the key weight is pushed into a weight-accommodating portion of the key in a state in which the pair of first latched portions are in contact with key-side latching portions, the lower portion of the guide portion is elastically deformed by reaction forces from the key-side latching portions such that the lower portion is bent rearward. Then, the lower portion of the guide portion is restored by disappearance of the reaction forces, whereby the first latched portions are latched with the key-side latching portions from below.

    Abstract: A hammer device for a keyboard instrument includes a plurality of hammers. Each hammer has a hammer body extending in a front-rear direction and having a front half thereof pivotally supported and a rear half thereof formed with a weight mounting portion. A first weight common in shape and size to the hammers is attached to one of left and right side surfaces of the weight mounting portion. A second weight is attached to the other of the left and right side surfaces of the weight mounting portion. The first weight includes a stopper contact portion which protrudes at least either more upward or more downward than the second weight, and is brought into contact with a stopper in accordance with pivotal movement of the hammer caused by depression of a key associated therewith.

    Abstract: A key weight capable of being easily mounted in a key for a keyboard instrument and being positively prevented from falling off the key. The key weight is mounted in the key by being inserted from outside into a weight-accommodating portion of the key, and includes a block-shaped weight body portion, protrusions that are formed on an insertion leading end of the weight body portion into the weight-accommodating portion and are elastically deformed by a reaction force from a far-side wall surface of the weight-accommodating portion when the weight body portion in a state in contact with the far-side wall surface during mounting of the key weight is pushed into the weight-accommodating portion, and latched portions that are formed on side surfaces of the weight body portion and are latched with side walls of the weight-accommodating portion.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for a SSD controller enabling data transfer between a host and flash memories have been achieved. A major component of the SSD controller is a non-volatile buffer memory, which interfaces fast disk drive protocols and slow write and read cycles of NAND flash. Preferably MRAM or Phase Change RAM can be used for the buffer memory. Non-volatile tables can also be implemented for storing dynamic logical to physical address translation, defective sector information and their spare sectors and/or SSD configuration parameters.
