  • Publication number: 20240112847
Abstract: To suppress a decrease in mounting strength of a coil component, a coil component includes a drum core including a winding core portion, and first and second flange portions. The coil component includes a first metal terminal which includes a bonding portion, a connecting portion, and a mounting portion. The bonding portion is bonded to the first flange portion with an adhesive. The mounting portion is closest to the first positive direction side in the first metal terminal and is separated from the first flange portion toward the first positive direction side. The connecting portion connects the bonding and mounting portions. The first flange portion has a facing surface that faces the mounting portion, a bonding surface, and a first inclined surface between the facing and bonding surfaces. The distance from the facing surface increases in a direction parallel to the first axis toward the bonding surface.

  • Patent number: 11938931
Abstract: A stop assist system for moving a moving body to a stop position and making the moving body stop at the stop position includes: an external environment recognizing unit that recognizes an external environment of the moving body; and a moving body control unit that executes a driving process to make the moving body travel to the stop position based on a recognition result of the external environment recognizing unit. The moving body control unit suspends the driving process when, while the moving body is traveling to the stop position, the moving body control unit determines, based on the recognition result, that there is an object within a range of a prescribed lateral threshold value on a lateral outside of the moving body and the object extends over a prescribed longitudinal threshold value or more along a travel direction within the range.

  • Publication number: 20230368967
Abstract: A decrease in mounting strength of a first metal terminal is suppressed in a coil component. A coil component includes a drum core including a winding core portion, first and second flange portions, a first metal terminal attached to the first flange portion, and a first wire. The first flange portion is connected to a first end in a direction along a central axis of the winding core portion. A first connection end of the first wire is joined to the first metal terminal. The first flange portion protrudes outward with respect to the winding core portion in a first positive direction. The first metal terminal includes a bonding portion, a mounting portion, and a coupling portion connecting the bonding portion and the mounting portion. The bonding portion is joined to an outer surface of the first flange portion with an adhesive interposed therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20230368965
Abstract: A coil component includes a drum core including a winding core portion, first and second flange portions, a first metal terminal attached to the first flange portion, and a first wire. The first flange portion is connected to a first end of the winding core portion in a direction along a central axis of the winding core portion. A first connection end of the first wire is joined to the first metal terminal. When viewed in a direction orthogonal to both a first positive direction and the inward direction, an acute angle formed by a virtual straight line parallel to the central axis and a tangent at an end of an inclined surface of the first metal terminal in the inward direction is larger than an acute angle formed by a virtual straight line and a tangent at an end of the inclined surface in the outward direction.

  • Publication number: 20230274872
Abstract: A coil component capable of holding a core in a stable posture by a chuck in a winding step of a wire. The core includes a winding core portion extending in an axial direction, and a first flange portion and a second flange portion provided at end portions of the winding core portion opposite to each other in the axial direction. Each of outer end surfaces of the first flange portion and the second flange portion has a first ridge extending along a ridgeline where the outer end surfaces intersect first side surfaces and a second ridge extending along a ridgeline where the outer end surfaces intersect second side surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20230215619
Abstract: A coil component includes a core including a winding core portion and flange portions; wires wound around the winding core portion; and terminal electrodes on the respective flange portions. The wires respectively have flattened portions connected to the terminal electrodes. The flattened portions each have a shape that becomes thinner from the winding core portion toward a tip end of a corresponding one of the wires. When viewed from a side where mounting surfaces are located, a center axis of a part of each of the flattened portions closer to the winding core portion and a center axis of a part of a corresponding one of the flattened portions closer to the tip end extend in different directions. The center axis of the part of each of the flattened portions closer to the tip end extends in a direction parallel to an axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20220328229
Abstract: A coil component having a first flange portion connected to a first end of a winding core portion on a first positive direction side, a second flange portion connected to a second end of the winding core portion on a first negative direction side, and a top plate extending through a longer range in a direction along a center axis than the winding core portion and connected to the first and second flange portions via an adhesive which does not contact the winding core portion. A first presence area is where the adhesive is on a surface of the top plate. A second presence area consists of a second area where the adhesive is on a surface of the first flange portion and a fourth area where the adhesive is on a surface of the second flange portion. The first presence area is larger than the second presence area.

  • Publication number: 20220328239
Abstract: In a coil component, a first end of a wire is connected to a first terminal electrode. Part of the wire extends in a spiral shape around a peripheral surface of a winding core portion with a center axis as an axis of helix. A region of the wire from a first point at which the wire is connected to the first terminal electrode to a second point at which the wire has been wound through one turn around the center axis is referred to as a first wire range. Within the first wire range, the wire has a first connection point at which the wire is connected to a top plate via adhesive. The wire is separated from the peripheral surface of the winding core portion at the first connection point.
