  • Patent number: 9592796
Abstract: An HVAC device including a compressor and a first blower disposed along ventilation pipes for taking in interior air of the vehicle through a duct in communication with the first blower. An evaporator and dehumidifying member may be disposed along the ventilation pipes and in communication with the first blower. The device includes a condenser and an electrical heating unit disposed along the ventilation pipes and in communication with the first blower, and a vehicle interior air reflux duct disposed along the ventilation pipes and in communication with first blower and the interior of the vehicle. A second blower disposed along the ventilation pipes for taking in air outside of the vehicle through another duct, and a first exhaust duct and a second exhaust duct disposed along the ventilation pipes and in communication with the second blower. The device includes several modes for creating different flow paths through the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9463683
Abstract: To solve this problem, a desiccant humidity control technique is used, in which moisture emitted from passengers is absorbed, so as to suppress rising of an absolute humidity, by a desiccant which absorbs moisture in air or discharges moisture into air by the difference in relative humidity to air, and air with a high temperature is generated by utilization of heat generated by moisture absorption. This air is sprayed to a front window and other areas so as to cause defogging as well as heat the interior of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20140338883
Abstract: To prevent reduction in cruising distance due to usage of electric power for anti-fogging of a window, heating of a vehicle interior, or the like when an electric vehicle or the like that runs by power supply from an in-vehicle battery is running, vehicle interior air that has passed through heat exchanging means for exchanging heat between vehicle interior air and outside air is introduced into a dehumidifying member. Therefore, the dehumidifying member can absorb moisture from air having a relative humidity that is relatively high, and hence a larger amount of moisture can be absorbed even with the same dehumidifying member.
