  • Patent number: 5868287
Abstract: In a liquid dispensing container for dispensing liquid from the liquid storage chamber through the dispensing port, an elastic member, which is normally closed but is opened by the pressure of liquid, is disposed at the dispensing port and the opened part of the elastic member opened by the liquid pressure is used as the dispensing port.

  • Patent number: 5230440
Abstract: Granular body discharge containers for holding granular bodies, such as oral conceptives, vitamin tablets or candies in a line so that the granular bodies can be discharged have an operating member for discharging the granular bodies is urged in the direction of a linear arrangement of the granular bodies. A side wall of a storage portion is open and releasably receives a storage tube. A granular body receiving member is disposed the a resilient member for urging the granular bodies in a discharging direction. A spring receiving member can be formed unitarily and separably with the granular body receiving member. Indications showing the order of use of the granular bodies are provided on a granular body receiving member serving as an index for these indications. The indications can be provided on a rotary member adapted to be turned at a predetermined angle every time an operating member is pressed.

  • Patent number: 5092702
Abstract: A fluid discharge device includes a valve seat, a valve body biased rearwardly with respect to the valve seat and a pusher disposed at the back of the valve body so that it can be moved forwardly to open a valve against the biasing force when a forward push force is applied. The pusher is disposed inside a shaft body so that the push force is applied indirectly to the pusher through a fluid tank removably attached to the pusher. Outward protuberances are disposed on the outer wall of the pusher, recesses are formed on the inner wall of the shaft body, and the protuberances of the pusher are positioned in the recesses to limit the rotation of the pusher. The invention relates also to a fluid discharge member wherein, when a fluid is a liquid, the pusher is biased rearward in such a manner as to define a space between it and the valve body when no push force is applied, and an engagement portion with the pusher is disposed on the shaft body so as to limit the rearward displacement of the pusher.

  • Patent number: 4867593
Abstract: A liquid dispenser according to the present invention comprises a container having a rigid top portion and an elastic bag portion, an actuator having a cylindrical portion engageable with the top portion of the container, a pair of flexible legs each having a bent portion and a valve aperture, and a valve device having a valve stem extending longitudinally in the container. The valve stem is engaged with the flexible legs at their ends. A spring is mounted between the actuator and the valve device for biasing the valve device to a closed portion. When pressure is applied manually onto a predetermined portion of the container, the flexible legs are actuated to move the valve out of its closed position so that a liquid in the container is discharged through the opened valve aperture.
