    Abstract: The present technology relates to a sound reproducing apparatus and a sound reproducing method capable of realizing appropriate sound image localization without deteriorating sound quality. The sound reproducing apparatus includes a reflection speaker that is capable of performing directivity control and outputs a sound toward a predetermined surface on the basis of a high-band signal of a sound signal, and a plurality of low-band speakers that is disposed near the predetermined surface and each outputs a sound on the basis of a low-band signal of the sound signal. The present technology is applicable to a sound reproducing apparatus.
