  • Publication number: 20020030248
Abstract: “”-shaped slits and linking portions are previously provided so as to surround a semiconductor chip-mounting region in a TAB tape. A semiconductor chip is applied onto the semiconductor chip-mounting region. The semiconductor chip in its electrode pad is connected by bonding to the TAB tape in its inner lead. The bonded connection is subjected to plastic molding. Solder balls are provided on the backside of the TAB tape in its portion corresponding to the semiconductor chip-mounting portion. Thereafter, the package portion is cut off at the cutting position in the linking portion of the slits. By virtue of the above constitution, highly reliable BGA type semiconductor devices can be produced while reducing the thickness and reducing the size.

  • Patent number: 5236266
Abstract: A print wire driving device for a wire dot printer includes a plate like member having slots therein. The slots are arranged opposite the cores of a magnetic core block. The cores are arranged in a circle and project from the core block. The slots extend radially from the center of the plate like member. A magnetic driving member is received in each slot so that it pivots therein when acted upon by the magnetic field of a respective magnetic core. A print wire is coupled to each magnetic driving member. Each print wire is guided by a wire guide having a wire nose which receives at its end a wire guide member from which the ends of the print wires extend to print. The wire guide includes structure for properly aligning two stacks of magnetic actuators.

  • Patent number: 5111560
Abstract: The technical field of the present invention relates to an apparatus for automatically threading a warp through the eye of a heddle. In a conventional automatic warp threading apparatus, a drawing-in needle equipped with a hook is delivered out through the eye and is pulled back after hooking the warp so as to thread the warp through the eye. For this reason, the eye is likely to be damaged and a defect is likely to occur during weaving. The automatic warp threading apparatus of the present invention warp threading apparatus of the present invention clamps the warp (Y) with finger members (18, 18') disposed on a thread feeder (5) and a jet nozzle (20) fitted to the finger members (18, 18') ejects a gas so as to thread the clamped warp (Y) through the eye. Accordingly, the eye is not damaged and weaving can be made advantageously.
