  • Patent number: 9837745
Abstract: A connector terminal includes a top side contact portion which makes contact with a top surface of a counter connector terminal and three linear bottom side contact portions each of which extends along a fitting axis and makes contact with a bottom surface of the counter connector terminal, the three bottom side contact portions being arranged such that centers of themselves form an isosceles triangle, the top side contact portion being, when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the top surface of the counter connector terminal in a fitted state, positioned in a straight line that lies between a base and a vertex facing the base in the triangle and extends parallel to the base in a manner that a ratio of a distance from the base to a distance from the vertex is 1:2.

  • Patent number: 9716331
Abstract: A female contact made of a bent sheet includes a socket part which receives a male contact, a terminal part to which an electrical wire is connected, and an intermediate part which interconnects the socket part and the terminal part. The intermediate part includes a U-shaped part having a U-shaped cross-section and an extended part extended outside the U-shape of the U-shaped part through a 90°-bent part from an edge in a width direction at one end of the U-shape. An end of the extended part is coupled to the socket part, and the other end of the U-shape is coupled to the terminal part. Both of the U-shaped part and the extended part have widths smaller than the width of a spring piece which is in the socket part and configured to contact the male contact.

  • Patent number: 9711904
Abstract: A connector is mateable with a mating connector along a predetermined direction. The connector comprises a mated-state detection member and a holding mechanism which includes a reference surface, insulating portions and an insulating external wall. Each of the insulating portions projects from the reference surface by a first predetermined length in the predetermined direction. The insulating external wall projects beyond the reference surface in the predetermined direction and surrounds the insulating portions in a plane perpendicular to the predetermined direction. The mated-state detection member is held by the holding mechanism and is movable between a projecting position and a receding position in the predetermined direction. The mated-state detection member at the projecting position projects from the reference surface by a second predetermined length which is shorter than the first predetermined length.

  • Patent number: 9225109
Abstract: A connector mateable with a mating connector having a locked portion. The connector comprises a lock member, a position detection mechanism, a lock maintenance member and a state detection mechanism. The lock member has a lock portion. The lock member is selectively positionable at a lock position or an unlock position. When the lock member is positioned at the lock position, the lock portion locks the locked portion to lock the mating of the connector with the mating connector. When the lock member is positioned at the unlock position, the connector is removable from the mating connector. The position detection mechanism detects whether the lock member is positioned at the lock position or the unlock position. The lock maintenance member is selectively takable a maintenance state or a permission state. The state detection mechanism detects whether the lock maintenance member is under the maintenance state or the permission state.
