  • Publication number: 20220090268
Abstract: In the present invention, a titanium-based metal substrate formed from. pure titanium or a titanium alloy is subjected to a surface roughening treatment such that that surface roughness Re thereof reaches 1.6-4.0 ?m, HAp powder is adhered to the entire surface or a part of the surface of the surface-roughened titanium-based metal substrate at a prescribed ratio, and the HAp powder is sintered to the surface of the metal substrate by retaining the titanium-based metal substrate, to which the HAp powder has been adhered, at a prescribed sintering temperature for 3-11 hours in an atmospheric, nitrogen gas, argon gas, oxygen gas or carbon dioxide gas atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 9901976
Abstract: A wax pattern forming die to form a wax pattern is first fabricated, and a molten wax is poured into a cavity in the wax pattern forming die to fabricate the wax pattern. Subsequently, the wax pattern is bonded to a casting sprue pattern made of the wax and fabricated separately from the wax pattern to fabricate an integrated pattern, a surface of the integrated pattern is coated with ceramics, sintering is effected, then the integrated pattern is molten and effused to fabricate a mold to cast a casting with a casting sprue. Further, a molten metal is poured into the mold and cured, then the mold is crushed to take out the casting with the casting sprue, and the casting sprue is cut off from the casting with a casting sprue to fabricate a casting.

  • Patent number: 5015289
Abstract: A manufacturing method for a metal body by means of injection molding that comprises the steps of mixing and kneading a metal powder with short fibers such as metallic fibers, carbon fibers and an organic binder, injection-molding the kneaded mixture to form a green body, removing the organic binder from the green body, and sintering the brown body. The short fibers are added in an amount ranging from about 0.1 to 20 wt. % against 100 wt. % of the metal powder and have a melting point of at least 350.degree. C., and at the time of sintering the fibers not less than 30 vol. % become fused and then integrated with the metal. The short fibers act as a reinforcement, strengthening the brown body as well as preventing deformation and cracking of the green body during debinding.
