    Abstract: A rotation-braking damper comprises a housing formed of a cap and a case, a shaft provided at the external end thereof with a toothed wheel and inserted on the internal end thereof into the housing, a disk fastened to the internal end of the inserted shaft, and a lock washer disposed inside the housing as held in contact with the disk. By the lock washer, the shaft in rotation is braked against the cap. The damper of this invention produces a desired braking effect on an opening-closing object such as a lid. The damper can be constructed with a small number of component parts.

    Abstract: A fastening means for a rearview mirror in an automobile interior, which comprises a fastening base formed on the supporting arm of the rearview mirror and a fitting member for securing the fastening base on the automobile body by using a setscrew. The fitting member is provided with a flange-shaped engaging portion having thin-walled portions which is readily broken under an impact which is caused by colliding a human body into the rearview mirror in case of an accidental sudden deceleration of the automobile for example, thereby to permit the mirror to fall off the automobile body.

    Abstract: A plastic buckle comprises an obverse half buckle member provided with an engaging piece and snap engaging means and a reverse half buckle member provided at the positions corresponding to those of the first half buckle member with surface portions adapted to be caught by the engaging piece and snapping engaging means. These two half buckle members are assembled into one complete buckle by fastening the surface portions to the engaging portion and rotating the two half buckle members toward each other with the point of contact thereof serving as the fulcrum of rotation until they come into fast union.

    Abstract: A fastener constituting an essential part of a fixing structure for fastening a radiator grille to an automobile body is provided on one side of the base plate portion thereof with fastening means for engagement with the automobile body and on the other side of the base plate portion with fastening means for engagement with the radiator grille and additionally with a rib in a position surrounding the radiator grille fastening means which rib is tightly accommodated into a recess formed in the radiator grille fastening portion. This arrangement gives the fastener enhanced resistance to various forms of stress that may be exerted on the radiator grille in use.

    Abstract: A radiator grille fixing structure comprises a plurality of fasteners which are each composed of a base plate and engaging means formed one each on the opposite sides of the base plate, with at least one of the two engaging means containing a shank portion of increased wall thickness and a flexible arm extended from the leading end of the shank portion and provided with an engaging step portion. In this structure, at least one of the plurality of fasteners is disposed in a direction opposite the direction in which the remaining fasteners are disposed. This fixing structure, when used as the medium for the union between a radiator grille and an automobile body, withstands all external forces exerted upon the radiator grille during the travel of the automobile.

    Abstract: The fixture part on a radiator grille to be fixed to an automobile body is formed of a plate member incorporating a retaining step therein, while the fastener to be fastened to the fixture part is formed of an engaging arm incorporating an engaging claw for attachment to the retaining step in the plate member of the fixture part and pinching members adapted to cooperate with said engaging arm to squeeze the plate member of the fixture part of the grille.     Abstract: A buckle comprises a receptacle member and an insertion member which are easily united and disunited. The receptacle member includes an engaging portion and a socket of a construction capable of admitting the insertion member. The insertion member includes a central piece, a pair of guide pieces connected to the leading end of the central piece and separated by slits from the upper and lower ends of the central piece, and an complimentary portion which when brought into engagement with the engaging portion of the receptacle member thereby retains the two members in an inextricably united state. The disunion of the two members is easily accomplished by inwardly pressing the portion of the insertion member fastened to the belt end toward the user's abdomen.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a one-piece plastic molding clip which comprises a base plate, a resilient engaging arm extending from the one edge of and generally parallel to said plate and provided at the free end thereof with a molding-engaging snap catch and resilient receiving members protruding from the base plate to the front side thereof and resiliently engaging the edge of a plate glass. This molding clip fastens a plate glass and a molding to the frame of an automobile window, front or rear, by causing said base plate having an adhesive tape or similar fastening agent applied to the rear face thereof to be fastened to the window frame, supporting the edge of the plate glass on the resilient receiving members, inserting the molding adjacent the window frame and the rear face of the base plate and bringing the molding into fast engagement with the snap catch.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a connector for plates, which comprises a basic portion, operating means disposed on one surface of said basic portion, a chamfered fitting portion formed on the other surface of said basic portion in a planar shape substantially equalling the shape of a perforation bored in a given plate, and an anchor member having a length slightly smaller than the largest width of the perforation in said plate and possessing an inclined shoulder along the portion at which the anchor comes into contact with said fitting portion. The anchor member slides into fast hooking engagement with the edge of said perforation when the anchor member is passed through the perforation in a plate (or plates) and the entire connector proper is subsequently turned about its center. The connector of the present invention, thus, serves to join face-to-face a plurality of plates or attach itself securely to a plate (or plates).

The cover has an annular projection around the through hole at the center. In use, the cover is fit onto the top opening of the cylindrical body and then the end of a suction pipe is inserted in the cylindrical body through the annular projection.The structures of the cylindrical body and the cover are amenable to production by injection molding, and are easy to assemble.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a plastic device for supporting cords and other elongated bodies which device essentially comprises an atoll-shaped main body having an opening, a pair of flexible door members protruding from the edges of the opening toward the interior of the main body and intersecting each other for thereby shutting the opening and an anchor piece to be inserted into an aperture of a plate. In use, the plastic device is fixed by pushing and inserting the anchor piece of the device into an aperture of a plate, and a bundle of wires are pushed against the intersecting door members so that the door members are yieldingly opened, thus allowing the bundle of the cords to enter the inner space of the atoll-shaped main body. Then, the door members are restored to the original intersecting position, thus preventing the cords from slipping out of the inner space of the main body.
