  • Patent number: 8249305
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a feature value detecting section, an image processing section, and an audio processing section. The feature value detecting section determines, when a first image and a second image that are captured at different positions include a specific subject, a feature value of the subject included in the supplied first and second images. The image processing section detects motion of the subject on the basis of the feature value determined by the feature value detecting section. The audio processing section localizes a sound image of the subject in accordance with the motion of the subject detected by the image processing section.

  • Patent number: 8170243
Abstract: An audio output apparatus is provided. The audio output apparatus includes: a vibration member, a vibrator, a vibrator positioning unit, and a vibrator-depth positioning unit. The vibration member vibrates to output a sound. The vibrator is in contact with the vibration member and detachably attached thereto to allow the vibration member to vibrate in response to an input audio signal. The vibrator positioning unit controls a contact position between the vibrator and the vibration member. The vibrator-depth positioning unit adjusts a position of the vibrator in the direction of being pressed against the vibration member and brought into contact with the vibration member.

  • Publication number: 20100198426
Abstract: A partition, a control device and method, a program, and a recording medium that can enhance the acoustic effect. Partitions are set in a room beforehand. The partitions are movable along a guide provided in a ceiling. In the room, furniture and a speaker are set. When sound from the speaker is reflected by the furniture and the reflected sound is given to a user, the acoustic effect is lessened. Accordingly, the partitions are moved in front of the furniture. Further, the partitions are moved so as to be symmetrically arranged with respect to the speaker. The movement of the partitions can produce an acoustic space in which the reflected sound is uniform. The present invention is applicable to a partition that enhances the acoustic effect.

  • Publication number: 20100195200
Abstract: The present invention relates to a screen, a control method, a program, and a recording medium that can provide audio and video at an optimal position for a user. A beam 111 is fixed to a frame 24. The beam 111 is connected to a beam 112 through a rotation shaft 113. Wheels 23A, 23B are fixed to the beam 112, and the wheels 23A, 23B allows movement along a rail provided in a ceiling. A speaker, a display, etc., is mounted on the frame 24. In a case in which the speaker is mounted, when the frame 24 is rotated around the rotation shaft 113, the front surface of the speaker can be directed toward a position of a user. The present invention may be applied to, for example, a screen speaker device.
