  • Publication number: 20150131805
Abstract: Respective signal processing modules are executed in a DSP of an audio signal processing device, and also a signal abnormality detecting module is executed. The signal abnormality detecting module executes processing to detect a clip at metering points set at input and output ends of respective signal processing modules, and store in the storage an audio signal in which the clip is detected while correlating with the measuring points the metering point at which the clip is detected. The audio signal stored in the storage is outputted by the output module.

  • Publication number: 20100268529
Abstract: An art capable of transmitting a voice separated for each speaker when voice communications are conducted in a state that a plurality of communication terminals are connected in a cascade mode is provided. When a conference is started, each participant using each terminal 10-n speaks. A voice data generation section 106 of each terminal 10-n collects the voice of each participant and generates voice data. The generated voice data is sent to a different terminal 10-n. On the other hand, the terminal 10-n determines the presence or absence of sound production for each of voice signals of a plurality of channels received from each different terminal 10-n and assigns the input channel detected to be in a sound production state to any of output channels.

  • Publication number: 20080273716
Abstract: A control unit gives acoustic environment instruction data to a picked up sound directionality control unit and an adaptive filter. According to this, the picked up sound directionality control unit generates a picked up sound signal constituted by a predetermined picked up sound directionality. The adaptive filter detects the picked up sound directionality from the acoustic environment instruction data, and reads out the filter parameter corresponding to this picked up sound directionality, from a memory. The adaptive filter sets a delay coefficient and a filter coefficient of an FIR filter, and generates a pseudo echo signal by an impulse response with respect to the received sound signal. Based on an error signal obtained by subtracting the pseudo echo signal from the picked up sound signal by an adder, the adaptive filter sets a more optimum filter parameter, and generates the next pseudo echo signal.

  • Publication number: 20010052943
Abstract: A multimedia system has a file storage, a sequencer, a program storage and an executing unit. The file storage stores a multimedia file composed of sequence tacks including a performance sequence track recording performance sequence information and a drawing sequence tack recording drawing sequence information, and a synchronization means recording synchronization information effective to synchronize the sequence tracks with one another. The sequencer processes the multimedia file for parallel running of the sequence tracks synchronously with each other according to the synchronization information. The program storage stores an application program which treats and controls the multimedia file. The executing unit executes the application program to enable the application program to communicate with the sequencer for effecting a control of the parallel running of the sequence tracks including a start control and a stop control of the parallel running of the sequence tracks.

  • Patent number: 5919047
Abstract: In a karaoke apparatus, a music selector device selects a plurality of desired music pieces so as to compose a medley. A designator device designates a desired section of each music piece selected by the music selector device. A sequencer device sequentially plays back the designated sections of the selected music pieces to perform the medley. A connecting device operates when the performed medley switches from a preceding section of one music piece to a succeeding section of another music piece to musically connect the preceding section to the succeeding section by different transition modes. A mode selector device selects an optimal one of the different transition modes according to musical properties of the one music piece and the other music piece so as to musically ensure smooth connection between the preceding section and the succeeding section.

  • Patent number: 5803747
Abstract: A karaoke apparatus has an information source for providing a performance data containing musical tone designation information, lyric indication information and fading control information according to progression of a karaoke song in response to a request. A tone generator operates according to the musical tone designation information for generating musical tones of the karaoke song. A first signal generator operates according to the lyric indication information for generating a lyric image signal indicative of lyric words of the karaoke song. A second signal generator generates a background image signal representative of a background scene of the karaoke song.

  • Patent number: 5768396
Abstract: A karaoke system of an online type is comprised of a karaoke station for sounding a karaoke performance according to a performance data, and a host station for supplying the performance data to the karaoke station in response to a request. The host station has a transmitter unit for time-sequentially dividing the performance data into a plurality of parts, and for successively transmitting each part arranged according to progression of the karaoke performance in response to the request. The karaoke station has a receiver unit operative when a preceding one of the transmitted parts is received for commencing the karaoke performance based on the received preceding part while admitting a succeeding one of the transmitted parts in parallel to sounding of the karaoke performance to thereby maintain continuous progression of the sounding of the karaoke performance.

  • Patent number: 5569869
Abstract: A karaoke apparatus responds to a request command for sounding a karaoke performance and is connectable to an external electronic musical apparatus for mixing an additional performance. A data supply is responsive to a request command for supplying an internal data representative of the karaoke performance. A data interface is connectable to an external electronic musical apparatus for admitting therefrom an external data representative of the additional performance. A merging controller merges the internal and external data with each other to avoid clashing therebetween. A sound source has a common tone generator for processing the merged internal and external data to concurrently sound the karaoke performance and the additional performance mixed with each other.

  • Patent number: 5532923
Abstract: A karaoke network system is composed of a central station for providing a data, and a local terminal connected to the central station through a communication line; for presenting an event according to the provided data and being switchable between a working state and an idling state in response to a request. The central station responds to a call from the local terminal for providing a song data representative of a karaoke event to the local terminal through the communication line. The central station further down-loads a program data which sequentially prescribes spare events into the local terminal through the communication line. The local terminal operates in the working state where a request is present for presenting the karaoke event based on the provided song data, and otherwise operates in the idling state where a request is absent for sequentially presenting the spare events according to the down-loaded program data so as to fill a blank period of the idling state.

  • Patent number: 5521326
Abstract: A karaoke apparatus operates according to a song data for presenting a karaoke performance composed of an instrumental accompaniment and a back chorus under a designated condition determined in terms of either of a tempo and a pitch. In the karaoke apparatus, a data source provides a song data which contains a musical tone data, a synthetic voice data and a real voice data. An input panel is operated for designating either of a regular condition and an irregular condition. A tone generator processes the musical tone data to generate an instrumental accompaniment, and concurrently processes the synthetic voice data to generate a false back chorus. A voice decoder decodes the real voice data to reproduce a natural back chorus.

  • Patent number: 5499921
Abstract: A Karaoke apparatus reproduces an automatic instrumental accompaniment of a selected song during the course of a physical vocal performance of the selected song by a singer. A memory registers a prescribed text data of a selected song, containing accompaniment information and word information composed of a sequence of characters. A musical sound synthesizer reproduces an automatic instrumental accompaniment according to the registered accompaniment information. A graphic generator modifies a graphic pattern of each registered character in association with a predetermined practical manner of the physical vocal performance. A display unit displays a sequence of the characters in the modified graphic patterns concurrently with the reproduction of the automatic instrumental accompaniment so as to visually teach the singer the practical manner during the physical vocal performance.
