Locking mechanisms respectively provided on the plurality of clip arms engage one another for maintaining the second configuration. A restraining mechanism is optionally configured to be associated with the locking mechanisms to prevent the target tissue from being pinched between the locking mechanisms.

Abstract: A refill includes: a bottom wall; a first side wall; a second side wall; and a front wall in which a discharge opening is formed. The first side wall includes, in a part thereof in a stacking direction, a first inclined wall extending in a coupling direction of staples and inclined in an axial direction. The second side wall includes, in a part thereof in the stacking direction, a second inclined wall extending in the coupling direction of the staples and inclined in the axial direction. The first inclined wall and the second inclined wall are inclined in the same direction, and at least a part of the first inclined wall and at least a part of the second inclined wall are formed at the same height from a bottom surface of the bottom wall in the stacking direction.

Abstract: A stapler includes: a forming plate configured to shape a staple; a face plate provided at a position to be face the staple; and a feeding portion configured to feed a staple sheet. The forming plate includes a first shaping portion that is configured to shape one leg portion of the staple and a second shaping portion that is configured to shape another leg portion thereof. The second shaping portion is configured to retract from a position facing the face plate after the first shaping portion retracts from the position facing the face plate after shaping.

Abstract: There is provided a stapler including: a pair of clinchers that include a shaft portion, a staple abutting portion located closer to a distal end side than the shaft portion, and a spring abutting portion located closer to a proximal end side than the shaft portion, the pair of clinchers being rotatable about the shaft portion, and the staple abutting portion and the spring abutting portion being rotated in opposite directions from each other by rotation; a partition plate interposed between the pair of clinchers and partitioning one clincher and the other clincher from each other; and an elastic member having one end side fixed to the partition plate and the other end side abuttable against the spring abutting portion.

Abstract: There is provided a stapler including: a driving portion that drives a staple into a sheet bundle; a clinch portion that bends a leg portion of the staple driven into and penetrating the sheet bundle; a table link that supports the clinch portion at a position facing the driving portion and move the clinch portion in a first direction where the clinch portion separated from and brought into contact with the driving portion; a motor that drives the driving portion; and a regulation portion that moves in a second direction intersecting the first direction while abutting against the table link and regulate a movement of the clinch portion in a direction away from the driving portion. A position where the regulation portion abuts against the table link changes in a direction toward the clinch portion as the clinch portion and the driving portion are separated from each other.

Abstract: There is provided a cartridge to be mounted on a stapler, and a stapler. The cartridge includes: a cartridge main body configured to accommodate a staple; a lever attached to the cartridge main body to be displaceable with respect to the cartridge main body; and a fixing portion for fixing the cartridge to the stapler when the cartridge is loaded on the stapler. The fixing portion is located at a first position in a fixed state where the cartridge is fixed to the stapler, and is located at a second position in a released state where the fixed state is released. The lever has a moving portion that moves the fixing portion to the second position when the lever is displaced in a first direction and a second direction with respect to the cartridge main body.
