  • Publication number: 20240308451
Abstract: A perception device includes a perception unit configured to perceive surroundings of a moving body based on a detection result of a detection unit, an obtaining unit configured to obtain supply information and instruction information indicating an instruction for an operation to the moving body, and an operation control unit configured to control a state of the perception device. The perception device is in a perception state in which the perception device perceives the surroundings, in a stop state or in a standby state. When the instruction information obtained in the perception state indicates the instruction for stopping the operation of the moving body, the operation control unit keeps the state of the perception device in the perception state without transitioning to the stop state or causes the state of the perception device to transition to the standby state.

  • Publication number: 20230237809
Abstract: An image processing device of a person detection system mounted on a moving body is configured to: detect, in image data obtained from a camera, an area of the image data in which an obstacle appears; perform a center-of-gravity area-width adjustment process in which a position of center of gravity of the obstacle in the area of the image data is estimated and a width of the area of the image data is adjusted based on the position of center of gravity; and determine whether the obstacle in the area is a person by comparing a post-adjustment area obtained after the center-of-gravity area-width adjustment process is performed with dictionary data.

  • Publication number: 20230237830
Abstract: An image processing device of a person detection system mounted on a moving body is configured to: detect, in image data obtained from a camera, an area in which an obstacle appears; determine whether the area meets an upper body detection process condition that the obstacle in the area is distanced from a road surface within a predetermined range from the camera; perform an upper body detection process in which the area of the image data is compared with upper body comparison data to determine whether the obstacle in the area is a person, for the area that meets the upper body detection process condition; and perform a whole-body detection process in which the area of the image data is compared with whole-body comparison data to determine whether the obstacle in the area is a person, for the area that does not meet the upper body detection process condition.

  • Patent number: 11442461
Abstract: A mobile vehicle includes one or more wheels, a sensor configured to detect the position of a follow target, and a controlling section configured to control the one or more wheels based on a detection result of the sensor such that the mobile vehicle follows the follow target. The controlling section is configured to determine a change point at which the traveling direction of the follow target has changed based on the detection result of the sensor, and to set a target point based on the change point.
