    Abstract: A sealing apparatus using a gasket in which a gasket main body is integrally formed with a reinforcing ring, the gasket main body has a one-end-side seal bead and an other-end-side seal bead which are positioned on one end side and another end side of the reinforcing ring in an axial direction and are oriented in directions facing away from each other in the axial direction, the one-end-side seal bead is closely contacted on a bottom surfaced of an attachment recessed part formed in a housing, and the other-end-side seal bead is closely contacted on a cover which closes the attachment recessed part of the housing, wherein in a state of being attached in the attachment recessed part with the cover removed from the housing, at least a part of an outer peripheral portion of the gasket serves as a supportable portion by providing a flange consecutively provided on an outer periphery side of the reinforcing ring.

The gasket, has a structure in which the gasket body is displaced to the one axial side within the mounting groove when pressure acts on the gasket because the rigidity of a second sealing lip is set to be higher than the rigidity of a first sealing lip or a reinforcing ring is disposed closer to the one axial side within the gasket body. Furthermore, a seal bead which is brought into close contact to the bottom surface of the mounting groove when mounted is provided in the gasket body and a space portion surrounded by the second sealing lip, the seal bead, and the bottom surface and the other side surface of the mounting groove when mounted is provided.

    Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a rotary type heat treatment device wherein, when a material to be sintered is continuously and stably sintered in a container, the material in the container is stably detected for a long period of time, and a temperature control method for the device. In order to perform temperature control with high accuracy, the inside of a container 6 is divided with screws 18 into temperatures control regions (1) through (6). Heat-resisting protective tubes 20, which are provided on the inner cylindrical wall of the container in such a manner that they are juxtaposed, and complementary thermocouples, are extended to the respective temperature control regions and are bent laterally. The temperature detecting sections 25 of the thermocouples that are led out of the protective pipes 20 are covered with heat-resisting material, and transmit electrical signals outside through a current collecting section consisting of a slip ring and brushes.
