  • Patent number: 9068979
Abstract: A micro bio sensor which detects a microbe existing in a specimen is provided. The microbial sensor includes a base, a detector formed on the base, and a reaction layer formed on the detector, wherein the reaction layer is comprised of a self-assembled monolayer which is formed on the detector and an antibiotic which is immobilized through the self-assembled monolayer on the detector. By using the micro bio sensor, it is possible to detect species of the microbe concurrently and improve sensitivity for detecting the species of the microbe. Further, a method for manufacturing such a micro bio sensor is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20140240827
Abstract: A stereoscopic image display device includes: a display panel on which pixels each constituted with a plurality of sub-pixels formed with electro-optic elements by corresponding to parallax images are arranged in matrix; and an optical module which distributes light emitted from the pixels arranged in the first and second directions to different directions from each other along the first and second directions, respectively. The display panel includes first and second non-control regions which are the regions existing between boundaries of apertures of the sub-pixels where control of electric-optic conversion cannot be done. An intersection part of the first and second non-control regions is disposed on a lattice point that is an intersection point of segments in a unit lattice constituted with lattice lines, and the first or the second non-control region is bent at least once within the unit lattice with respect to the lattice lines.

  • Patent number: 7518667
Abstract: In a provided LCD device, a common electrode and a picture element electrode which make up the main portion of a unit picture element of the LCD device are both made up of one thin conductive layer made of a Cr layer, while a common electrode wiring line and a data line or a like which are connected to the common electrode and the picture element electrode respectively are each formed as a stacked film made up of a first conductive film (thick Cr layer) and a second conductive film (thin Cr layer). This configuration enables increasing the film thickness of wiring lines such as, especially, the common electrode wiring line and the data line or the like, thus decreasing a wiring line resistance thereof.

  • Publication number: 20060244892
Abstract: In a peripheral region of an active matrix substrate, disposed is a wiring pattern of control signal wirings or power supply wirings for drive ICs mounted. The wiring pattern includes a plurality of wirings. In addition, a transfer pad is provided, which supplies a common potential to a counter electrode of a counter substrate. Moreover, a common voltage wiring connected to the transfer pad is provided. Furthermore, between the plurality of wirings and the common voltage wiring, a plurality of protective transistors are connected.

  • Patent number: 6888601
Abstract: In a lateral electric field liquid crystal display device, a major electrode portion for generating a lateral electric field is formed using a layer different from a layer on which other electrodes and lines are formed. In this case, the major portion is formed to have a thickness of {fraction (1/20)} to ? of the thickness of each of the other electrodes and lines. Thus, flatness of a base film of an alignment layer is significantly improved, also alignment layer material can be coated and formed with high flatness on the base film, and rubbing of the alignment layer material can be performed uniformly for the overall substrate surface.

In this case, the major portion is formed to have a thickness of {fraction (1/20)} to ⅓ of the thickness of each of the other electrodes and lines. Thus, flatness of a base film of an alignment layer is significantly improved, also alignment layer material can be coated and formed with high flatness on the base film, and rubbing of the alignment layer material can be performed uniformly for the overall substrate surface.
