A mode identification unit identifies whether automated driving in a hands-on mode, which requires gripping of a steering wheel of the vehicle, or automated driving in a hands-off mode, which does not require gripping of the steering wheel, is performed when the vehicle is in the with-monitoring-duty automated driving. The display control unit differentiates display of the surrounding state image, when the vehicle switches from the without-monitoring-duty automated driving to the with-monitoring-duty automated driving, depending on whether the mode identification unit identifies the automated driving in the hands-on mode or the automated driving in the hands-off mode.
