  • Publication number: 20250104897
Abstract: A multilayer coil component includes: an element body having a pair of first side surfaces opposite to each other in a first direction and a pair of second side surfaces opposite to each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; and a coil disposed inside the element body and having a coil axis extending in a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction, in which one of the pair of first side surfaces is a mounting surface, and a ratio of a first gap in the first direction between the coil and the mounting surface to a size of the element body in the first direction is 12 to 30% in a cross section viewed in the third direction.

  • Patent number: 12217897
Abstract: A multilayer coil component includes an element body, first and second coils, and a pair of external electrodes. The element body includes a plurality of insulator layers laminated in a first direction. The element body has a pair of end surfaces opposing each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The first coil and the second coil are disposed in the element body and respectively have coil shafts along the second direction. The pair of external electrodes are disposed on the pair of end surfaces and electrically connected to both ends of the first coil and the second coil. The first coil includes a first conductor layer, a second conductor layer, and a first through hole conductor. The coil shaft of the first coil is disposed inside the second coil.

  • Publication number: 20250029774
Abstract: A coil component includes an element body including a pair of end surfaces opposing each other, and a coil disposed in the element body. The coil includes at least one coil conductor. The element body includes a pair of first element body portions each including a corresponding end surface of the pair of end surfaces, and a second element body portion between the pair of first element body portions. The second element body portion includes a first region and a second region disposed at positions different from each other in the direction. The second region has relative permeability smaller than relative permeability of the first region and relative permittivity smaller than relative permittivity of the first region. The at least one coil conductor includes a coil conductor disposed in the second element body portion.

  • Publication number: 20230402211
Abstract: A ferrite composition includes a main component and a sub component. The main component includes an iron oxide in terms of Fe2O3, a copper oxide in terms of CuO, a zinc oxide in terms of ZnO, and a nickel oxide as its remainder. The sub component includes a cobalt oxide in terms of Co3O4, a tin oxide in terms of SnO2, and a bismuth oxide in terms of Bi2O3. A is ?3.5 or more and 1.0 or less, provided that A=(??18)/?; is defined, in which ? is an amount of the zinc oxide represented by mol % in terms of ZnO in the main component, and ? is an amount of the cobalt oxide represented by parts by weight in terms of Co3O4 with respect to 100 parts by weight of the main component.
