Furthermore, a Hall IC on a wiring substrate detects a rotation position of a magnet in the knob, thereby enabling the shift position of the knob to be detected. Here, the Hall IC is placed on an outer side in a rotation radial direction of the magnet. Because of this, it is possible to enlarge the change in the relative position between the magnet and the Hall IC that is generated by the rotation of the magnet, thereby enabling the detection accuracy when detecting the shift position of the knob to be improved.
