  • Publication number: 20240300771
Abstract: A medium processing apparatus for processing a medium ejected from an image forming apparatus includes a conveyor, a slit, a medium processing device, a stopper, and detectors. The conveyor conveys the medium ejected from the image forming apparatus. The slit communicates with an opening of a housing into which a medium is manually inserted from outside and includes a placement face on which the inserted medium is placed. The placement face has a first side and a second side orthogonal to the first side. The first and second sides are not parallel to a direction in which a side face of the housing extends. The medium processing device processes the medium conveyed by the conveyor or the medium placed on the slit. The stopper regulates edges of the medium along the first and second sides of the placement face. The detectors are disposed on the stopper to detect the medium.

  • Patent number: 9340168
Abstract: An electronic apparatus for a vehicle, includes an electronic device, a waterproof housing that receives the electronic device, and a filter. The housing has a ventilation hole that penetrates through a housing wall of the housing. The filter is attached to a filter attachment portion of the housing wall to cover the ventilation hole. A wall surface of the ventilation hole includes a slope surface section that has an increasing cross-sectional area, which progressively increases from an inner end to an outer end of the slope surface section toward an outer surface of the housing wall in a penetrating direction of the ventilation hole. Furthermore, a distance between the filter attachment portion and the outer surface is larger than that between the inner end of the slope surface section and the outer surface in the penetrating direction.

  • Patent number: 7667973
Abstract: A waterproof case for housing an electronic component includes a case member that has a plurality of breathing holes, and a breathable waterproof filter fitted to the case member at a position corresponding to the breathing holes to cover the breathing holes. For example, open surfaces of at least two of the breathing holes, opened outside of the case member, can be made to face in different directions. Furthermore, the breathing hole has an open area on a side of the breathable waterproof filter, which is larger than an open area of the breathing hole on a side opposite to the breathable waterproof filter, in the case member. Accordingly, the waterproof case enhances waterproofness while circulating air between the inside and the outside of the waterproof case.

  • Publication number: 20080193141
Abstract: A small optical transmitter-receiver module capable of regulating the light output level, without changing the mounting position of a laser diode or modifying the laser diode itself, is provided. In the module, a waveguide substrate which forms a planar lightwave circuit, a semiconductor laser element serving as a laser oscillation element which oscillates laser light to be output to the outside transmission path through the planar lightwave circuit, and a photodiode element serving as a light receiving element which receives laser light from the outside transmission path through the planar lightwave circuit, are integrated on a silicon substrate. On an optical waveguide of the planar lightwave circuit, a variable optical attenuator for laser light propagating the optical waveguide is arranged.
