    Abstract: A blower fan includes a hub, a plurality of blades and a ring. The blades are arranged along and extend outwardly from an outer periphery of the hub. The ring is shaped in a circular ring form and couples a distal end portion of each blade. The distal end portion of each blade has a separation limiting structure that limits separation of a flow of air from the blade. Each blade has a shape that directs a flow direction of the air passing through the blade to the separation limiting structure of an adjacent blade which is an adjacent one of the plurality of blades located on a rear side of the blade in a fan rotational direction.

    Abstract: A vehicle front end member including at least a radiator has an upper protrusion fixed to an upper insertion hole of a vehicle front end panel, and a lower protrusion fixed to a lower insertion hole of the front end panel. When an exterior force larger than a predetermined value is applied to the vehicle from a front side, a fixing state of the upper protrusion into the upper insertion hole is released, while a fixing state of the lower protrusion into the lower insertion hole is maintained. Therefore, is can prevent all the front end member from being separated from the front end panel when the exterior force is applied to the vehicle from the front i side. Accordingly, a damage of the front end member due to the exterior force is prevented while a collision of the front end member on a road surface is prevented.

    Abstract: A vehicle cooling apparatus having a simple construction that enables the size of a cooling fan electric motor to be reduced without the need to increase the number of batteries provided for driving the motor. The cooling fan provides necessary cooling for an engine radiator and an air-conditioning system condenser by driving the motor at an input power lower than its rated power by a predetermined amount until the temperature of the engine cooling water reaches a predetermined temperature. If the water temperature rises above the predetermined temperature, the electric motor input power is increased to a level greater than its rated input power for a predetermined time period. As a result, cooling capacity can be increased and the water temperature can be lowered with a smaller motor when the water temperature has become abnormally high. Because the electric motor is normally driven at an input power lower than its rated input power, the life of the electric motor is increased.

    Abstract: A heat exchanging system includes two cooling fans for cooling heat exchanging medium of a heat exchanger, and a control device for controlling rotational speeds of the cooling fans. The control device is attached to an outer surface of a fan shroud so that radiation fins of the control device is disposed inside the fan shroud. Further, the radiation fins of the control device is disposed between two fan accommodating portions each having a cylindrical shape. That is, the control device is disposed in a comparatively large space formed by two fan accommodating portions. Therefore, the control device can be readily attached to the fan shroud on a vehicle, and the size of the radiation fins can be made larger. Thus, the heat exchanging system cools the control device sufficiently while improving ventilation performance of the cooling fans.
