    Abstract: A lighting apparatus which provides an heat dissipation effect, high output and large light emitting area including: housing having rectangular cylindrical shape obtained by forming belt-like body including plurality of holding bodies in rectangular cylindrical shape and connecting end portions of belt-like body formed in rectangular cylindrical shape; and circuit board mounted on inner surface of the housing and including a light source. The circuit board includes: mounting portion mounted on inner surface of the housing and having a surface provided with the light source; and connecting portion which connects mounting portions adjacent to each other in peripheral direction of the housing and is bendable at a corner of adjacent inner surfaces of the housing, and rear surface of mounting portion contacts inner surface of the holding body. Therefore, it is possible to provide lighting apparatus which provides an excellent heat dissipation effect, high output and large light emitting area.

    Abstract: A light source device, having an excellent cooling efficiency and usable when multiple devices are stacked in a vertical direction, is presented. The light source device includes a casing having a sufficiently small size in height relative to depth and width, wherein, an intake hole is formed in a casing wall for taking in air and an exhaust hole is formed for exhausting air, a fan arranged inside the casing so that a rotating shaft thereof is inclined with respect to the height direction of the casing and partitioning the interior into front and rear chambers to form an air flow from the intake hole to the exhaust hole, a light source inside the front chamber, and a heat radiation fin provided thermally connected to the light source inside the front chamber, wherein the intake hole is in the front chamber and the exhaust hole is in the rear.

    Abstract: An optical unit is provided with an integral light condensing section and a light transmitting section. The light condensing section is in a shape of a parabolic body of rotation substantially widening from a proximal end toward a distal end with a concave section opening at a proximal end face to accommodate a light emitting element, a side circumferential face to reflect the light from the light emitting element inward and a distal end face to introduce the light from the light emitting element into the light transmitting section. The light transmitting section is a substantially cylindrical shape of a smaller diameter than the light condensing section, and comprises a proximal end face to introduce the light from the light condensing section, a side circumferential face to reflect the light introduced from the proximal end face inward and a distal end face to emit the light.
