  • Patent number: 5736969
Abstract: A three-dimensional image reproducer receives a video signal including three-dimensional information including X and Y information constituting a plane and Z information constituting a depth. This apparatus causes particles to fall with respect to one line. The line from which the particles fall is changed in the Z direction based on the Z information. A light source generates a light beam toward the falling particle based on a video signal. The generated light beam is scanned in the X and Y directions. The focal point of the light beam is controlled to move in the Z direction in synchronism with the change of the line from which the particles fall. The image formed by the particles is viewed as a three-dimensional image if viewed from the Z direction.

  • Patent number: 5677729
Abstract: A panoramic vision apparatus having a simple structure is provided which produces an image from which the viewer feels a natural stretch. A shooter and a display are each provided with a prism. The shooting range is changed by a rotation of the prism of the shooter and the projection position is changed by changing the direction of the projected light by a rotation of the prism of the display. The shooter outputs a direction signal representative of the direction of the prism of the shooter in synchronism with a video signal. The display sets the direction of the prism thereof in accordance with the direction represented by the signal to project an image.

  • Patent number: 5604529
Abstract: To provide a three-dimensional vision camera where no disagreement is caused between two-dimensional image information and distance information, the three-dimensional vision camera is provided with a memory (11), a neural network (12) and a three-dimensional image synthesizer (13). In the memory (11), image data of a photographic object shot from different directions are stored. Information necessary for converting the image sensed by an image sensing device (2) into a three-dimensional image is read out from the image data of the memory (11) by the neural network (12). A three-dimensional image is produced by the three-dimensional image synthesizer (13).

  • Patent number: 5502480
Abstract: A three-dimensional vision camera where there is no disagreement between the video signal and the distance signal is provided by using the taking optical system for the distance measurement. A reflecting mirror 8 for reflecting a distance measuring laser beam from a laser diode 6 is arranged behind a taking lens 4. The laser beam is irradiated to a photographic object through the taking lens 4. The laser beam reflected by the photographic object is received by a photodiode array 7 through the taking lens 4 and the reflecting mirror 8. While the taking lens 4 is moved along the optical axis to perform photographing, the laser scanning is performed by rotating the reflecting mirror 8 about two axes vertical to the optical axis of the taking lens 4 to measure the distance.
