    Abstract: According to some embodiments, systems and methods may be employed for receiving a power consumption signal. An on-state of a light-emitting diode may be defined. A duty cycle of the light-emitting diode may be determined based at least in part on the power consumption signal. The duty cycle may reduce a power consumed by the light-emitting diode. The determination of the duty cycle may, for example, include varying at least one of an on time or an off time, for the on-state, of the light-emitting diode.
