    Abstract: A method for identifying a reusable plastic container (RPC) includes attaching a durable RFID tag and a separate sticker-label to the RPC. The separate sticker-label including printed information relating to the RPC. The RPC can be filled with a selected contents and the durable RFID scanned. A sanitation cycle can be applied to the RPC. The sanitation cycle includes removing the separate sticker-label. The separate sticker-label being optimized for removal during the sanitation cycle. The durable RFID tag being optimized to remain functional and attached to the RPC through a selected number of multiple sanitation cycles.
