  • Publication number: 20230289547
Abstract: The invention relates to an article which includes an optical symbol which can be scanned/captured by an image capturing device. The optical symbol incorporates, or is encoded with (i) a set of instructions which are readable and executable by a computing device/processor; and (ii) data which is associated with the article. At least some of the instructions are configured such that, when a computing device/processor executes the instructions, the data is used by the device/processor during the execution of the instructions. The optical symbol may be a two-dimensional barcode or a three-dimensional barcode. The data may be read-only memory (ROM).

  • Patent number: 11679696
Abstract: A seat assembly includes a swivel mechanism for providing rotation of the seat assembly in an automotive vehicle. The swivel mechanism includes a first plate assembly coupled to a second plate assembly at a rolling-element bearing to facilitate axial rotation of one of the first and second plate assemblies relative to the other of the first and second plate assemblies. A lock plate slidably disposed on the second plate assembly selectively engages a lock pin extending from the first plate assembly for movement between a locked position in which the swivel mechanism cannot rotate and an unlocked position in which the swivel mechanism can freely rotate. Actuation of the lock plate between the locked position and the unlocked position actuates movement of a wedge between a cinched position to stabilize the swivel mechanism and an uncinched position to allow unimpeded rotation of the swivel mechanism.

  • Patent number: 9919622
Abstract: A seat track assembly includes a latch mechanism operable to allow movement of a movable track relative to a fixed track between a plurality of positions. A memory mechanism is operable between a home position, coupled with the movable track, and a memory position, coupled with the fixed track, to define a selected position. Actuation of the memory mechanism to the memory position unlocks the latch mechanism to allow movement of the movable track in a first direction away from the selected position to an easy-entry position. In response to movement of the movable track in a second direction from the easy-entry position, the memory mechanism blocks the movable track at the selected position, allowing the latch mechanism to lock and the memory mechanism to return to the home position. The latch mechanism operates independently to unlock the latch mechanism when the memory mechanism is in the home position.

  • Patent number: 9701223
Abstract: A disc recliner comprises a fixed guide plate coupled to a rotatable tooth plate. Pawls are movable between a first position interlocking the guide plate and tooth plate in a locked condition and a second position disengaged from the tooth plate in an unlocked condition to allow pivotal movement therebetween. A shaft extends through the guide plate and the tooth plate and a cam is fixedly mounted on the shaft for engagement with the pawls. A drive nut is fixedly mounted to the guide plate for rotation therewith. A drive screw is fixedly mounted to the shaft and matingly engaged with the drive nut wherein rotation of the shaft rotates the drive screw and the drive nut causes lateral movement of the shaft and cam along an axis to drive the pawls between the first and second positions thereby actuating the disc recliner between a locked and unlocked conditions.

  • Patent number: 9428085
Abstract: A disc recliner for a seat assembly includes a fixed plate secured to a seat cushion and a rotatable plate secured to a seat back. Each of the fixed and rotatable plates has a plurality of teeth, the number of teeth not being equal. A flex spline has a plurality of teeth, the number of teeth being equal to the number of teeth on the fixed plate. A wave generator causes a portion of the teeth on the flex spline to meshingly engage with the teeth on the fixed and rotatable plates. Rotation of the wave generator causes the teeth on the flex spline which meshingly engage with the teeth on the fixed and rotatable plates to change, thereby causing the rotatable plate to rotate relative to the fixed plate, which in turn causes the seat back to pivot relative to the seat cushion.
