  • Patent number: 5323614
Abstract: A premixed combustor for a gas turbine, comprises, a combustion chamber for burning a fuel with an air therein, at least two premixed fuel/air mixture outlets which are juxtaposed with each other, and through each of which a premixed fuel/air mixture flows out into the combustion chamber, and a flow deflection member arranged between the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets, urging the permixed fuel/air mixture from one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets to go away from another one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets, and terminating in the combustion chamber so that the premixed fuel/air mixture from the one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets is permitted to move toward the premixed fuel/air mixture flowing out from the another one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets after going away from the another one of the premixed fuel/air mixture outlets.

  • Patent number: 4820909
Abstract: A transacting device performs its transacting operations in response to a customer's request for a deposit or payment transaction. Upon the request for the deposit transaction, paper currencies deposited through a money receiving/paying port are transferred en bloc by paper currency transferring means to an accumulation unit close to a separating unit. The currencies are individually separated by the separating unit and then identified by an identifying unit with respect to authenticity, monetary classification and the number of currencies. Thereafter, the currencies are accumulated in a plurality of accumulation units according to the monetary classification. When making the request for the payment transaction, a plurality of the currencies accumulated in the accumulation units are transferred en bloc by the transferring means to the accumulation unit vicinal to the separating unit.

  • Patent number: 4718655
Abstract: Paper sheets transported from a transporting line are stacked successively into a receiving station by a vane-wheel type receiving and guiding device. The paper sheets stacked in the receiving station are taken out to a subsequent transporting line one by one by a friction pick-up and separating and feeding device. The friction pick-up and/or the vane-wheel type receiving and guiding device are rotatable. The friction pick-up is retracted from the surface of the stacked paper sheets when the paper sheets are stacked and when the paper sheets are taken out and is moved to abut the surface of the stacked paper sheets to thereby permit the taking out of the paper sheets.

  • Patent number: 4369350
Abstract: A refrigeration evaporator includes a serpentine refrigerant tube having a plurality of finned straight portions connected by unfinned U-shaped connecting portions to form a stacked assembly of side-by-side finned tube arrays. The fins are rectangular and are provided with a J-shaped cut-out at each corner. The J-shaped cut-outs at confronting corners of the fins of each immediately adjacent pair of finned tube arrays define a U-shaped heater receiving space extending the length of the arrays and which clampingly receives an elongated straight portion of a serpentine electric defroster heater in good heat conductive contact with each fin of the immediately adjacent pair of finned tube arrays. Each fin of the stacked assembly has at least two corners in engagement with the heater. The stacked assembly is disposed transversely in a duct having an air inlet and air outlet.

  • Patent number: 4044797
Abstract: A heat transfer pipe for use in a heat exchanger such as air conditioner, freezer and boiler, wherein grooves are formed in the inner wall surface of the pipe, which are by far finer in size than the grooves that have been provided for the purpose of increasing the heat transfer area in general, and slanting relative to the axis of pipe, to thereby improve the heat transfer rate without increasing the pressure loss caused to the fluid flowing through the pipe.
