Publication number: 20150204351Abstract: A structure for mounting a cooling fan (30) includes a spider (31) and blades (32) at free ends of mounting arms (31c) of the spider (31). A rotation center portion (31b) of the spider (31) is mounted on a rotating shaft (33) through a fan adaptor (60), the rotating shaft (33) being driven by an engine (27). A partition member (70) for closing gaps in the spider (31) is mounted on the fan adaptor (60). As a result of this configuration, the gaps between the mounting arms (31c) of the spider (31) can be reliably closed, and therefore the backflow of air from the downstream side (high pressure side) of the cooling fan (30) to the upstream side (low pressure side) thereof can be prevented.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2013Publication date: July 23, 2015Applicant: Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.Inventors: Osamu Watanabe, Tamio Kobayashi, Hiroyuki Azuma, Takahiro Kobayashi, Jun Yamabayashi, Shigehisa Funabashi

Patent number: 8317889Abstract: Disclosed is an installation structure for a dustproof net to be arranged in a machine, which has an engine, a cooling fan for producing cooling air to cool the engine, plural heat exchangers arranged on an upstream side of the cooling fan, and a compartment with the engine, cooling fan and plural heat exchangers accommodated therein, such that the dustproof net is arranged at a position on a side upstream of the heat exchanger located most upstream among the plural heat exchanger relative to a flow of air drawn in by the cooling fan and in isolation from the most upstream heat exchanger to remove dust contained in the air drawn in by the cooling fan. The dustproof net is provided with a support structure for supporting the dustproof net on members that form the compartment.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 2010Date of Patent: November 27, 2012Assignee: Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tamio Kobayashi, Hiroyuki Isobe

Patent number: 8162087Abstract: A top cover (17) is provided at an upper position of a supporting structure (12) of heat exchange device (11), and an upper opening (20C) is configured to be provided in a detachable type cover (20) for constituting this top cover (17) at a position corresponding to a clearance (16) between a radiator (13) and an intercooler (15) which overlap in the flowing direction (A) of cooling air. Accordingly, when a cooling fan (7B) is rotatively driven, the upper opening (20C) allows cool cooling air to flow into the supporting structure (12) and to be supplied to the radiator (13) through the clearance (16) between the radiator (13) and the intercooler (15). As a result, only the radiator (13) which overlaps with the intercooler (15) can be efficiently cooled by the cool cooling air from the upper opening (20C).Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2009Date of Patent: April 24, 2012Assignee: Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tamio Kobayashi, Makoto Matsushita

Publication number: 20110000637Abstract: To provide a heat exchanger assembly for a construction machine, which can facilitate attachment/detachment work of dustproof nets and can attach the dustproof nets with suppressed flapping. A heat exchanger assembly for a construction machine is provided with heat exchangers mounted on a frame for cooling a drive source mounted on the frame, a fan mounted on the frame for supplying cooling air to the heat exchangers, and dustproof nets arranged upstream of the heat exchangers in a flow of the cooling air produced by the fan. The dustproof nets are each provided with a net section held taut within a frame section, and a clipping part attached to the frame section. The clipping part is arranged such that it can be releasably fastened to a clipped part arranged on the corresponding heat exchanger. The clipping part is provided at its end portion with a bent portion. At least one of the bent portion 34e and the clipped part is provided with an elastic member.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 4, 2009Publication date: January 6, 2011Applicant: Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.Inventors: Sheng Chang, Tamio Kobayashi, Kensuke Sato

Multi-cartridge apparatus for recording and reproducing audio signals automatically and successively
Patent number: 3964097Abstract: The apparatus to which the present invention relates comprises at least two spaces defined by at least one partition wall provided between upper and lower base plates, each space being intended for receiving one cartridge; it is thus possible to accommodate at least two cartridges in a superimposed manner. In each space, there are provided a head for effecting recording and reproducing, and a capstan for advancing the tape in the cartridge. In addition, means are provided in each space for holding the cartridge at its waiting position where the tape and the pinch roller in the cartridge are spaced from the head and the capstan, respectively, for automatically and successively selectively advancing the cartridge to record/reproduce a position and for retaining the cartridge thereat where the tape and the pinch roller make contact with the head and the capstan respectively.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 1973Date of Patent: June 15, 1976Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tamio Kobayashi, Tadashi Torama -
