  • Patent number: 5183591
Abstract: An electroconductive resin composition which is composed of a rubber-reinforced styrene resin having a controlled pH value of from 5.0 through 9.0 and a carbon material filler and a metal material filler as incorporated into the resin. A method of preparing the electroconductive resin composition where a rubber-reinforced styrene resin is adjusted to have a pH value of from 5.0 through 9.0 and a carbon material filler and a metal material filler are added to the resin.

  • Patent number: 5093037
Abstract: An electric conductive polyphenylene sulfide resin composition comprising: from 15 to 30% by weight of glass fiber with respect to the weight sum of polyphenylene sulfide resin and glass fiber taken as 100% by weight; and from 20 to 30% by volume of copper alloy fiber with respect to the volume sum of polyphenylene sulfide resin, glass fiber and copper alloy fiber taken as 100% by volume. The electric conductive polyphenylene resin composition is an optium material for enclosures for automobile electronics apparatuses which are disposed outside the passenger room.

  • Patent number: 4793651
Abstract: A seat cover for an automotive vehicle which has inflatable, transversely extending columnar portions for providing support to the seated individual, especially to the lumbar region, and heat-retaining portions, filled with a heat-retaining agent such as polyethylene glycol, interspersed among the inflatable columnar portions for accumulating ambient heat derived from sunlight and for giving off said heat when the ambient temperature drops. Means for inflating the columnar portions manually are provided.

  • Patent number: 4486373
Abstract: A reinforced thermoplastic resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin, a fibrous, flaky or powdery inorganic reinforcing material, and an uncured, thermally curable resin, such as a thermosetting resin, applied to the surfaces of the inorganic reinforcing material. Molding of this composition by injection molding or the like yields a molded product in which the thermally curable resin has been cured by the heat during the molding to provide a strong chemical bond between the inorganic reinforcing material and the thermoplastic resin. The molded product thus obtained possesses more strength and/or elongation than the conventional thermoplastic resin product.
