  • Patent number: 5351503
Abstract: In a refrigerating apparatus for use in transportation, condenser fans for feeding external air to a condenser and evaporator fans for feeding air in a freezer compartment to an evaporator are mounted on a common shaft driven by an engine. The condenser fans and evaporator fans have propellers of the same size. The common drive shaft is disposed parallel to a drive shaft of the engine.

  • Patent number: 4886425
Abstract: A capacity control device controls an amount of fluid bypassed from a compression chamber formed between contacts of a stationary and revolving spiral elements into a suction chamber by an actuator. The capacity control device provides a feedback mechanism in which a relation between a suction pressure of the compressor and a pressure of actuating the actuator is a function of the first degree and controls the suction pressure to be constant. A capacity control amount of the compressor can be determined only by the suction pressure of the compressor independent of other variation factors. Accordingly, the minimum suction pressure can be restricted strictly and frost control can be attained by the compressor itself.

  • Patent number: 4696084
Abstract: A scroll type fluid machine comprising a pair of mutually engaged scroll members each including a side plate and a spiral lap uprightly disposed on an inside surface of the side plate; when the scroll members are relatively revolved in solar motion relationship, a fluid volume in sealed chambers defined by the pair of engaged scroll members being varied, so that a pressure of the fluid in the sealed chambers is thereby varied in order to discharge a gas therefrom, characterized by constituting so that stress may not concentrate at stress concentration portions of the scroll members, i.e.

  • Patent number: 4608001
Abstract: In a scroll type fluid machine wherein there are engaged stator scroll means and rotary scroll means in intermeshing relationship with each other, each having a spiral or scroll blade portion projecting in the axial direction from the lateral plate surface in such a manner that the rotary scroll means may move in solar revolving motion with respect to the stator scroll means mounted stationary on a cup-like member by the rotating motion of a main shaft, while restricting the rotating motion of the rotary scroll means by function of a rotation blocking mechanism, so that the fluid may operatively be sucked into and delivered out of the fluid machine with a differential pressure produced therein in continued variation, an improvement is accomplished in that an angular phase relationship between the rotary scroll means and the stator scroll means may be compensated properly by shifting in rotation the rotary scroll means in the direction of rotating motion thereof in accordance with the extent of initial wear ge
