Abstract: An airborne datacenter (ADC) device includes a datacenter assembly component (DAC) and a drive apparatus. The DAC is configured to perform: provisioning the ADC including receiving, in response to a provision request, business functions and configuration information from a provisioning center connected to the ADC over a network and self-configuring the ADC with the business functions and the configuration information; datacenter operations with the ADC including receiving, from another ADC within a fleet of ADCs and over the network, processing results generated by the another ADC, performing the datacenter operations using the business functions and the processing results generated by the another ADC, and forwarding processing results of the datacenter operations to a land-based enterprise over the network; and decommissioning the ADC including transferring runtime information of the ADC, and deleting the runtime information from the ADC.

Abstract: A method for altering encryption status in a relational database in a continuous process, wherein at least one table of said database comprises at least one base area and at least one maintenance area, comprising the steps of: copying all records from said base area to said maintenance area; directing action of commands intended for said base area to said maintenance area; altering encryption status of said base area; copying all data records from said maintenance area to said base area; and redirecting action of commands to said base area.

Abstract: A method for preventing an administrator impersonating a user of a relational database, which database at least comprises a table with at least a user password, wherein said password is stored as a hash value. The method comprises the steps of: adding a trigger to said table, said trigger at least triggering an action when an administrator alters said table through the database management system (DBMS) of said database; calculating a new password hash value differing from said stored password hash value when said trigger is triggered; and replacing said stored password hash value with said new password hash value.
