  • Patent number: 7660003
Abstract: An image processing system according to the invention comprises a valuable information processing apparatus which manages valuable information equivalent to money, and an image forming apparatus which is connected to the valuable information processing apparatus and forms an image according to the valuable information. The image forming apparatus stores read or input image data into image data memory means. • Publication number: 20090074527
Abstract: A cutting blade 5 is formed by firmly fixing a tip 4 comprising a superabrasive compact to the top end of a shank 2. Nick grooves are formed on the cutting blade as a lateral separation means for separating swarf in the lateral direction and rounding treatment is applied to the cutting edge 6 of the cutting blade in order to configure a longitudinal separation means for separating the swarf in the longitudinal direction. The swarf is separated at the part of the cutting blade in both the lateral and longitudinal directions and fractionized into very fine pieces. By doing so, it is possible to provide a drilling tool which allows swarf to be surely separated in the lateral and longitudinal directions and fractionized even when a hole is created with a large machining thickness in the radial direction.

  • Publication number: 20070139690
Abstract: The image processing apparatus comprises an image reading portion for inputting image data, an image forming portion for outputting input image data, and a machine control portion for controlling an interrupt operation. The machine control portion determines an output state at the image forming portion when input of image data from the image reading portion is completed, and, if it is determined that previous image data is being output, it selects between interrupting the previous image data by the input image data and processing the input image data after completion of processing of the previous image data.

  • Patent number: 6860657
Abstract: When a print process command is outputted from a port terminal, an MFP displays first print information related to the print process command of the port terminal on a display unit. On the other hand, when a print process command is outputted from a personal computer, the MFP receives authentication information, and displays second print information related to the print process command of the personal computer on the display unit only when the received authentication information matches pre-stored authentication information. Then, the MFP prints print data outputted from the personal computer on condition that the second print information is displayed on the display unit. For example, the staff in a shop can print the print data for business use by using an MFP for use by customers in the shop while ensuring security, and it is possible to prevent confusion between a plurality of customers and the shop staff in operating the MFP.

  • Patent number: 6516178
Abstract: The image forming apparatus includes an original document size detector device for detecting a size of an original document to be processed and a non-standard size input instruction screen for inputting a size of an original document to be processed. Normally, the detector device detects the size of an original document, and the original document image data is processed based on the obtained original document size to reproduce an image on the recording material. The non-standard size input instruction screen includes an X key and a Y key that enable the operator to input a new original document size by inputting a difference between the actual document size and reference values, where the reference values are provided based on the original document size obtained by the detector device.

Abstract: The image forming apparatus includes an original document size detector device for detecting a size of an original document to be processed and a non-standard size input instruction screen 34 for inputting a size of an original document to be processed. Normally, the original document size detector device detects a size of an original document, and original document image data is processed based on the obtained original document size information to reproduce an image on paper of a corresponding size. The non-standard size input instruction screen 34 is provided with a an X key 46 and a Y key 47 that enable the operator to, when inputting thee size of the original document, select and input new original document size information using an incremental key 44 or a decremental key 45 after reference values are provided based on original document size information obtained by the original document size detector device.

  • Patent number: 6202162
Abstract: A data-processing system consisting of a portable terminal device and a copying machine can effectively work with protection against breakage of data stored in the terminal device. The data-processing system is constructed to work on the following principle: When a given period is measured by a timer for starting the power saving mode, a portable terminal device provides a copying machine with a signal informing of starting the power-saving mode. The copying machine, which received the power-saving-mode starting signal, provides in later the portable terminal device a signal requiring the terminal to cancel the power-saving-mode. When a given period is measured by a timer for starting the power saving mode, the copying machine provides the portable terminal device with a signal requiring the terminal device to start the power-saving mode. A CPU, which received information on request of power-saving-mode, executes the power saving mode.

  • Patent number: 6185321
Abstract: In an image forming system, a digital copying machine, which is requested to determine image data, stores determination history data including a result of determination in its memory when the result indicates that the image data are prohibited to be copied, and transfers the determination history data to a digital copying machine of a requesting end, and also transfers the determination history data automatically or as requested to other digital copying machine, a central image formation control unit or a host computer of the service center. As a result, an inhibit copy action can be prevented even when a digital copying machine being used within the system is not provided with an image determining function, thereby providing a security system which can inform others of an occurrence of an illegal or dishonest action at real time.
